Hi Bob and Jenny a great video as ever and well done on getting through the maze that is the area around Lichfield at the moment I can’t believe how it’s changed now I worked there post m6 toll but pre HS2 and it was straightforward to get round then but looks barmy now and they’ve cut through the old road system It will be great when HS2 is finished if it ever is Looks a lovely place where you stayed I worked for Lichfield Council and we used to cover the area where you are It’s lovely out that way and some lovely spots such as hopwas and kings Bromley Yes the famous cappers lane remember it well! If you come to Litchfield again just stay on the A38, it’s so much easier. Welcome to roadworks in the Midlands, lots of fun and frustration. You nearly went past my house, you could have had a cuppa. The Plough pub is very nice, food is delicious.

Can’t believe we have actually been to a site before you, luckily for us it was before HS2 roadworks started there, we stayed on the campsite on the right as you drove in, and yes….. we didn’t find the pub either 😂😂

well done you really need to visit bridgehouse marina near garstang lovely marina and facilities are out of this world .

We know the area well and we still got lost.

We find Google maps is best during roadworks, etc. It's supposed to be kept very up to date. What a pickle! Interesting looking site. How lovely to be able to stroll along the canal. One day, we'd like to try a narrowboat holiday.

Hi bob , if you enjoy staying at a marina take a look at overwater marina audlem Cheshire . Campsite and cl , great facilities , cafe on site , great walk to the village along the tow path . At the weekend there’s a little shuttle boat that will take you to the village . You can also walk around the marina and see the boats . They even have day boats for hire .

Yes, but more annoyed that the road closed sign didn't show access to that lane was possible.

Are you going to go for the full air suspension or just the rear.Ive gone for the factory fitted self levelling at Swift,but the air suspension was the front and rear which was 8 grand.So will be looking at just getting the rear done.So looking forward to see who you get to do your,s done by.

If you turn left when you come out of the site it takes you straight onto the A38

That was closed, because we couldn't turn off the A38 to get to the site.

What a nightmare. Road looks horrendous. It’s never good getting lost as when u arrive you are all stressed. Not one site I will ever visit given the access.

Maybe could've phoned site for guidance ?

Oh there were diversion signs everywhere, but no sign saying road closed access to the Plough only....
