My son took me on my dream trip to Scotland spring of 2018, but anxiety got the best of me and all I got to see was Edinburgh, then had to go home. These videos let me see what I missed. The drive to Glencoe was the one I would have made if I was cut out for travel. I really enjoy these, thanks so much. 💕

A beautiful site we stayed in roughly the same position as you. The last time we stayed was a glorious couple of days. We took the drone out across the loch and had some great footage of the scenery, a Container ship and Ocean liner.

What a lovely site and pitch. I could enjoy a few days there! X

Thanks, pretty much the same here, didn't know at the time we were going to be rewatching and reediting these videos.

We used to go to Bunree every year with the caravan when I was a child. It was just grass with a big loop road and a very grotty concrete block toilet and dump station in the middle with just 2 toilets, so at least its been updated a bit in the last 40 years since I was last there. We always had one of the last couple of pitches on the left before you turned on to the Lake side, as we had a big awning, plus the cats loved the woods behind for exploring. It was just a long drive in with the traffic lights, don't remember any houses on it, and the camp office was tiny, just for booking in and ordering milk in plastic bags - looks to be bigger and far more regimented now - but at least the view hasn't changed.

I hope it's like that in heaven xxx

I always love the scenery on that drive and in the weather you had it looked amazing. That view you have of the loch is just great I wish I was there . Atb :D Teddy

Yes, weather is changeable, but there's also a different view.

Wow, what more could you want.

We stayed in exactly that spot in April, keep a look out for the Otters in the bay.

You really cracked it here. Stayed at Bunree a few years ago and is the only time we have left a site sooner than planned after 4 days of heavy rain and strong winds. Kept the midgies away however.

Sooo - all is fixed and ready to move on - sadly : ( Still - thanks to your channel taking us all along for the ride - we will all have memories of being there - too : o ........ To the next adventure - good or bad : o ........ Peace on Earth : ) ........

That is an amazing pitch. In America the shade you have rolled out is called an awning. I'm assuming the awning you were describing were those rooms people put up.

Yes some people here call the canopy an awning too.

Good video again Bob, I’m always surprised how many caravans and motorhomes you see on these sites but you never seem to see that many on the roads. I’m sure the drivers who don’t do camping would disagree though !!

I've worn my Motorhome wave out, waving at all the motorhomes we saw today!

Please drive careful on the A 9. Just saw a hour long documentary on that road that leaves one almost with fear.

Think we were on 25 or 26. Book a non-awning pitch to be on the front. They are non-awning pitches at the front so they don't spoil other people's view.

@@BobEarnshawMoHo sorry to correct you but we are on 29 at the moment and can see from your video that it was 30 that you stayed on. We have followed your tracks exactly 3 years on, staying in Morvich for 4 days before coming here today. Unfortunately, the weather IS NOT the same as it was for you but we are hopeful that it will improve tomorrow!!!

Thanks, but don't fancy doing this every time I mention temperature (26 deg C × 9/5) + 32 = 78.8F I always put a map if where we go on our update video. See kzread.info/dash/bejne/eWRtsNOfc7XVZdo.html

Bob, when you got AutoGlass to fix the window what information did they need to get it right 1st time and bring the right glass with them.

@@michaeldawson6309 no it's a standard glass window for a Fiat Ducato, that's probably why they had no trouble getting it.

Lovely video as always but just watch out Poppy doesn't burn her feet on the hard walking surfaces as in this weather it soon heats up and can burn them, just check with back of your hand when your out walking. Sorry to be a bore, I do really love your travels Bob, your an inspiration for me to go places in my caravan that i've never been to before x

Thanks, my understanding is that a canopy is a one peice cover, normally connects to the top of a motorhome or caravan, rolls out or slides in. An awning is an enclosed room with a roof and sides. A canopy becomes an awning when you add sides.

I guess A17, A1, A66, M6, M74, M73, M80, A84, A85, A82. Never driven from the Wash area.
