Love Berwick Seaview ... not been since 2019 due to the pandemic etc, but booked for August. Amused to see Harthill services make an appearance ... live just over the hill to the left ... my grandparents house overlooked it. Legend has it my mum pushed me along the motorway in my pram before it opened ... not sure when it did open but assuming (and hoping!) it was some time after I was born in July 1970!

Hi Seaview, Looking forward to seeing you in June. The week always begins with a short drive to St Abbs head to see the seabirds . The boat from Seahouses to the Farne Islands to see the magical puffins. A day to Craigside and the impressive carriage drive to see the annual display of rhododendrons is always on our list for this holiday. A week is never enough time. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Great to see the Berwick Sea View campsite as I haven’t been there. Enjoy your trip to Lindisfarne - we went a few weeks back and I can’t believe it was the first time we had been as it was fantastic as you said. (We stayed at the Barn at Beal close to the causeway) - all the best, David 👍

Drove up th A1 in my Warwick XL from Berwick to Edinburgh last Sunday, like you covered in bugs and had to wash windscreen during a break, then whole van front when back home. Can't remember a vehicle getting covered in so many bugs for over a decade. Used to be common but not so much in recent years. Thanks for the videos and enjoy your travels.

Hi Bob and Jenny, great review. Kathleen and me are awaiting delivery of a 74-4i. looks like being August some time. I could do with a look at the alko chassis extensions and check if the electrics are pre wired with the 7 pin socket tie-wrapped to the chassis ready for the tow-bar. We haven’t been able to see the motorhome at all yet as there are none to see..If you’ve already covered it tell us where to find it… thanks. Alan & Kathleen. Wigan.

I think you mean a 75-4i. I didn't examine the wiring in my videos, but there is a connector available for the tow bar electrics socket. I can't check now as the Adamo went back over month ago. I had a look at the tow bar on one of my videos from Luss at Loch Lomond maybe you might see in that one.

I’m buying a 75-4i, which is about a year old with 900 miles on the clock. It has very few of the annoying features that Bob is pointing out. For example, the reverse view camera is professionally mounted to the dash and is easily seen and, it’s not plugged into the 12v, it appears to be properly installed. The waste water has a pipe, and the outlet is next to the handle on the offside of the van. We have a microwave however, there is plenty of storage lockers, over the settees, which would not be the case where the bed is of the drop down type. My main gripe, which is tiny, is that the fridge should have an extra door shelf or two and, the fridge itself could have an extra shelf also. The electric table can be manoeuvre to sit close to and at the same height as the kitchen prep area, allowing for even greater prep space. Other than that it seems perfect, and I especially look forward to trying it out from the driver’s seat, as Bob has commented on the excellent driving experience he has had with the Adamo.

I didn't complain about the reverse view screen on this 75-4i, it's very helpfully mounted where the rear view mirror was. I would say I wish it was also a rear view screen as well as a reverse view screen. Hopefully the new versions will come with the waste pipe extension already fitted.

Hi all. I know there is nothing more annoying than advice after the event but I would definitely have gone the alternative (shown on your google maps) route via Stirling. Coming from that area I would always avoid going through Glasgow. You could have gone A811 and stopped off for a break at the foot of Stirling castle. Great views and shops for supplies and lunch. Anyway enjoy the rest of your trip.
