ARRIVE & DRIVE E36 M3!

We teamed up with Socal Drivers Club to try something new in the track scene... They're going to offer this E36 M3 as a full track rental at any of their track days, so at the start of the project, SDC reached out to us to make a plan.
We wanted a reliable, forgiving and capable car for drivers of all skill levels to enjoy. Starting with the legendary E36 chassis, we worked with our partners to put together a minimal but killer selection of parts.

CSF radiator and oil cooler
A bit of mild weight reduction inside is all we had time for on this first shakedown, but we'll dig in a bit deeper before the car heads back to the track.
Everything was setup and installed by Racecars Unlimited, and the car. was. perfect.

Drove this E36 at Chuckwalla (CW and CCW on March 1 with SDC) due to my F87 being under the knife at the moment. This E36 has phenomenal balance front to rear, predictable and progressive rotation, stable under braking. Great build. I highly recommend it. This car spoiled me for a day with the CAE shifter and the MCS coilovers. I need some proper MCS dampers now. The chassis transparency and control was superb. Thank you, Alex, for prepping this great build! Charles, thank you as always for a great event. Lastly, thanks to Thomas for sharing your car with us fellow drivers! I hope to see more arrive-and-drive builds in the SDC stable!

Awesome stuff, been thinking about renting out my E92 M3 and miata. What is the going rate for an arrive and drive rental for the car?

I think it'll really depend on the car, consumables, tires used, insurance purchased, etc... I don't believe SDC has released their pricing yet, but should be in the $1500 range.
What wheels are they?
