I traveled with this beauty back in 1987, from Gothenburg to Harwich. That trip was very ruff, hell of a storm. It took 33 hours and normally it takes 24 hours.

​@@JustFerries I went on the new ferry Stena Ebba three days ago and I have to say that it was very nice inside, big and airy and nicely decorated. Think you should try it.

Good old Tor Britannia 🙂 What a career she has had. Wonder if this was her last season - will she be replaced by the new buildings from China? It will be a sad day when she sails away and the final destination will be a beach😥 I still remember when I first saw her at the shipyard here in Aalborg in 1980 - and later that year, my family and I travelled with her from Gothenburg to Felixstowe. She was really impressive: Big, elegant and powerful.

Have had so many good memories with that beautiful ship. Had my "stints" as hotel officer (purser) onboard TOR BRITANNIA and later PRINCE OF SCANDINAVIA. Signed on the first time on Jan. 26th 1987 and left in June 1997. Could have stayed forever on this magnificent ship. But mr. "dickhead" came across...
