I have watched numerous of these jailer shows -perhaps 100+. My favorite officers, in no particular order are Catherine Gorton of Oregon (tough, takes no BS), Kaal Somppi of Florida (firm, tough, formal, polite), Jeff Ford of Texas (polite, friendly), Nicole Sittre of Las Vegas (friendly, violence diffuser), Isabel Leija of Las Vegas (friendly, firm, and darned CUTE!), Ben Medrano of Texas (friendly, violence diffuser). All of the officers do outstanding jobs; I would hate to cross any of them. I thank them all for their hard work. They are great people who help keep society safe. I was dismayed that Officer Ford may switch to patrol; I love watching the guy. I suppose of all of them, Officer Gorton is my all-time favorite.

God bless these jailers and help to keep them safe as they try to be as polite as possible to the drunks, tweekers, ect....that come through their door. They must have the patients of 10 men/ women all together to be able to deal with some of life's most undesirable individuals. Obviously by watching these videos, it takes quite a commitment as well on the part of the jailers to put up with the continued grief they receive day and night after day and night.

Detective Ford is a great cop, he was always polite and was very good with the inmates. So glad his career is on the up, he deserves it.

I hope that women managed to get out of that abusive relationship with that awful guy. At first, when she was drunk I didn't really like her but when she started talking with that hopeless voice all curled up in that blue blanket with bruises all over her I immediately felt so much pity for her. I hope she's in a much better place now and finds someone who treats her like the powerful woman she is.

A while back, there was a deputy at Harris County Jail-Female inmates, who acted like the female deputy from the OC. A group of former female inmates stopped her on her way to her car one evening. She is no longer a deputy. She is paralyzed from the neck down and cant talk. What these women did was terribly wrong, but you cant have the supercilious attitude that she has when working with these women. Some sympathy works a hell of a kot better, so does compassion. Believe it or not, some of these people ARE innocent. To have a degree in sociology, she sure doesn't understand people's reactions when they are afraid.
