+Jack Because the levels that top level bodybuilders go to today is unhealthy. Simply shedding as much water as they do is unhealthy, and this reflects through the body.

Arnolds bodyfat level was comparable to modern era pros. What has changed is the use of diuretics and other drugs which are being used to squeeze out that last bit of subcutaneous water for those brief periods where the guys are onstage. Modern pros cant hold their stage condition for more than a day or two because of the drugs, sometimes only hours, whereas golden era bodybuilders could hold their condition for weeks. Arnold often said he was ready a week before the Olympia..

yeah, you dont have a christmas tree lower back that is that defined unless you are 5% or under. Almost no pros today have that..
Old school was better than modern day in this sport.

This is the man who inspired me to take up bodybuilding myself. Truth is, I may never be as large as him, but that's not what bodybuilding is about. It doesn't matter what you look like, it matters what you feel like. This is the message that I think Arnold is trying to send: Inspiring all men to be strong, smart, and bold. You truly are a hero to all men everywhere Arnold. God be with you.

Joshua Powers right in the feels. This man went from nothing to everything. Moved to America with no money. Became the best bodybuilder ever, the Terminator and the Govenator! I used to be strong, but broke my wrist and stopped lifting because of the pain. I got a little chunky. Decided to say screw it and burn it all off. So that's what I did. You know what inspired me? Pumping iron. Now, I am leaner than ever and trying to gain as much muscle as naturally possible! You can do it! Just dream and seize that dream! If Arnold could do it, you can too! Just seize it bro!

Yeah nowadays man is taking hormones getting surgery just to look like a woman nd woman are taking male hormones supliments nd doing heavy work out in gym just to get a muscular body like a man

Yeah man. Arnold said that he won the most of it because everyone else was trying to be the same. Lou went down and was overwhelmed by frustration because perhaps he was obsessed of defeating Arnold, instead of putting on more effort and focus on how he could be very unique than the rest.
hell yeah arnold aka the terminator is definitely the king of bodybuilding nothing beats him screw the unnatural bodybuilders nowadays nothing can beat the legendary austrian oak himself

His front double biceps were incredible well ahead of his time, too damn good plus the conditioning he brought to the stage was amazing when compared to other guys. and I personally think he had the charisma and to this date no bodybuilder has ever matched or even came close, I mean you can go in remote part of African gym and there is a poster of Arnold haha:)
That wat makes Schwarzenegger so GREAT. Look he, is beating the best bodybuilders of al time next to him ;)

very decent and ideal physique, my favorite physique so as others as well. today bodybuilding is all about getting big like a bull no symmetry,condition and unachievable physiques in modern bodybuilding I wish old school comes back.
