This is some of the most intense and intimate combat footage i've ever seen; almost every soldier you see has a GoPro mounted on their helmet, which gives us so much (almost too much) access to it. These videos show things that up til now have only been seen by soldiers; and the old cliche seems to hold true...war is hell.

I just want to leave it here, because i think it fits: In some show during the 90s or so, a military doctor is operating on a person. next to him is a preacher. Someone said "War is hell". The Doc. responds: "War isn`t Hell. Hell is Hell and War is War." The Preacher leans in and questions: "How would you come to that conclusion, Doc?" "Tell me father", Doc retorts, "Who is in Hell?". Preacher answers with a psalm, paraphrased he sais, that those who sin go to hell. "So how come war is chock full with the bodies of the innocent?", Doc remarks as the camera fades. The interaction at 17:41 during an active situation is just such a heartwarming thing to see :) There's only one thing I can say after watching this video. The amount of brotherhood between the international soldiers and ukranian soldiers is so ensuring to watch. Even though the young Ukranian dude couldn't speak much english. They still could understand each other and both treated each other with so much respect and love. Keep up the good work and both of you, stay safe and keep up the fight! They have no way to communicate or know who is who besides some color tape on arm or helmet which makes you a easier target for the enemy. 3 days to 2 weeks of training before combat. Will do that with most of it training how dig trenches. They dont even have the basics of shoot move communicate, when they are first sent to the trenches.

I'm almost sure, even tho he's Russian. He threw him self over the grew to save his buddy. After that when the Ukrainian starts shooting them you see him fire at the second guy that was saved by first guy. You can see him lay right on the grenade

100%. Apparently Palestinians have lived with the sound of drones 24/7 for the last 15+ years. Imagine that, being 15 years old and having never known the sound of silence, just a constant "bzzzzzzzzz" everywhere you go. And knowing you're being spied on. Fing awful.

I hope Arnie plans to publish some kind of book about all of his wartime experiences, including all of the important details that aren't in the video clips. If he needs someone to write the story for him, I am willing to volunteer.

Arnie really does live up to his alias. Hes been on countless missions and helped defend a foreign country for the sake of independence and democracy. Plus the various injuries hes suffered havent stopped him yet. Including the shrapnel that left a huge hole in his back. Obviously idk if he will be returning to frontline combat but i imagine he'll still operate drones if he doesnt.

It’s just sick how everyone is happy about this war. On both side are young men dying and mothers crying. There is absolutely nothing good in war. And those war influencers would just use everything just to get clicks and attention. Even to fight for a other country.

The drone part of the fotage made me really sad. I feel like we are losing the little we have of our humanity. No warrior's honor, just suffering. I know the russians also do the same, but that doesnt makes thing less sad.

With enough time guess you can get used to anything. These guys are calmer in combat than a lot of my civilian colleagues are at work

total respect to the unit and everyone there! not only is this footage showing their work. but online clips have reinforced their work as well. saw Arnie's crew in a interview on the first battle. and saw drone footage from the 39th mechanized brigade with the drone drops. the coordination was great. it was a shame that one lada got away from the m240 but he will find his time to shine again
