I was blown away that someone else said something about this moment at the 2 min mark. I think that little "something" is what I like most about Ingrid. she says so much with her expressions. Great voice, jazzy but not too much or overdone.

She's just amazing here. She does vocals AND plays all the instruments. Gotye has nothing on her. She's truly a multifaceted musical artist.

Eh I have to disagree. It's beautiful but the original he showed pain and hurt. I feel she isn't sad to sing this song. I feel she only heard it and said I love this song and decided to sing it. She is awfully to happy to sing it. Gotye was more sad and depressed and could see how hurt he was. She is wonderful but she don't seem to feel the pain and hurt.

she changes the meaning/message by performing it alone. It is an exercise rather than a song about love, breakup, emotional abuse.
