Yeah, you'd have to figure the only counter is something that can provide massive destructive force in a few strikes. Ant eaters are so large and able to consume many at a time, but a frog or bird might be in real trouble with these kinds of ants.

I've stepped into a colony of this savages few years back when I was hunting in the jungle. It was the fight of my life moment. Just stepped at one of them and the rest will rush towards you like a flood. Luckily, there was a river nearby. When they attacked me, I almost felt like I was gonna passed out. The pain was overwhelming. Pure adrenaline kept me alive and the river of course.

Yeah, the path of ants is mapped, and cameras set to follow their tracks. Then the cameras are worked remotely from a safe distance, especially when the cameras are deep in ants' territory, else, the ants can still be filmed manually from a safe distance, with telephoto lenses.
