Spektrum AR6610 without case
Spektrum DX8 gen 2
Four flight modes,
1. Launch, couple mm of reflex and elevator compensation for straight flight at high speed. Only used during launch.
2. Cruise, wing clean. I switch to this as soon as I push over out of the launch climb.
3. Thermal 1, 3-4mm of Camber. cruising looking for lift without slowing too much.
4. Thermal 2, 6mm of Camber. Used when in lift to climb faster.

Nice flights but the vario gets annoying, maybe when you're flying it's not so noticeable. What Rx and Tx are you using?

It's a Spektrum DX8 gen 2 transmitter and AR6610T receiver with the case removed. I agree that as a spectator the vario would be annoying, plus I think I need to make the sink less sensitive so it's not always chirping. While you're flying it just turns into background noise that I don't really consciously notice but the rising sound does register in my head. The rising noise never annoys me :p Thanks for watching
