There was a convoluted way to use a low ammunition warning to delay his “I gotta go get the milk” dialogue and this stop the event where he leaves before you kill the boss

@awhellnah__ There's a console and you can use a "kill" command on every single boss. I dont know why you think devtools would only be in a bethesda game, but you're sorely mistaken. Dont have to take my word for it either, there's videos of the command lines being used in AC everywhere on youtube and it's basic knowledge that every single game has dev-centric tools to be able to manipulate and test features / continuity and all the other relevant functions one might need to properly ensure quality control, just like skipping ahead in a level or spawning entities. At least you learned something today !

@@ChuuniKaede every single Fromsoft game with their current engine has a "console" or a command prompt. how do you think modders load AC's in Elden Ring ? I dont get people like you that think their ignorance has to be correlated with facts instead of revising their opinion based on new information they didnt know about. The lack of a public / open / accessible console isnt synonymous with it's absence dude it just means to protect the online functionality it's not available per default. That's why single player only games usually dont hide their commands as they are not a concern, and why people like awhellnah and apparently yourself think it's "exclusive" to some studio / game series and not present elsewhere. As stated, it's a basic dev tool, not limited to Fromsoft and obviously available if you're tech savvy enough (and realize you need to watch for EAC and risk getting a flase positive ban if you mess with the console or inject code while connected to the internet.)

Thats a pretty heavy AC and firing the shoulder cannons is expensive, so odds are the weight had them taking some damage before the jugg and the cost of firing its weaponry was too steep.

I used an S Rank calculator, with those repair and ammo costs he needed to clear the mission in 4 minutes and 30 seconds-ish (it depends on how much stuff he killed before the boss), which is honestly pretty doable. My guess is that he got an A-Rank because it wasn't a first attempt kill and used the checkpoint, which automatically disqualifies you from an S Rank.

Nice, copied your build and got one successful attempt after about 30 retries xD The timing is too tight, you also have to float at his head for a bit when he recovers after ACS, so you don't have to waste time chasing after him, cuz he likes to do big retreat move otherwise

Damn, you beat it so fast! I beat it before he could leave to get the S rank but didn't trigger that dialogue, it actually kinda glitched cause he just stood there for something like 15 seconds while walter was talking and then just left, hit the map barrier and started faling down. I wish I could've recorded it cause it was kinda funny.

Same, I actually managed to beat it just as Rusty mentioned he had to take care of the enemy, still on map, friendly health bar not gone, dialogue not changed... tried with this build... 12 attempts, got the changed dialogue

I tried every thing to do this, and failed every single time, until I run into your video, thanks man.

Might as well build a Noblesse Oblige with that Triple laser cannon.

ACs are only ("only") about 10 meters tall on average, way bigger than a person or a normal vehicle but they're not *that* big on the scale of mechas.

Someone imported some models into Elden Ring, which are actually scaled appropriately to their in-universe size. ACs are 8-10 times the size of the main character, the Ice Worm is three quarters as long as Limgrave and towers over most landmarks, the strider is longer then Limgrave and is almost as tall as the Erdtree, and the satellite with the laser in the intro is larger then the entire world map.

@@BenjerminGaye Yeah but on the scale of mechs across media they're small fry lol hell even compare them to the industrial equipment around them, or even just "normal" infrastructure, the AC universe is one populated by mechanical titans of mindboggling scale, but that's a staple of sci-fi and mecha especially in general.

yeah, chainsaw and triple laser cannon shoulders are the important ones, right hand weapon is personal preference, though do note that this was filmed pre zimmerman nerf

Retrying from a checkpoint always voids the S Rank requirement which is what he did probably in order to rearrange his assembly.

Just got this on third playthrough with a quad plasma build. It's a little slow to stagger but once it gets there enemies just melt.

This must have been a glitch or something. For me: If the Wall's health is below 60%, the second Rusty finishes saying: "Walter knows how to pickem" it's to late. I was only able to do this because it didnt run away after the first stun and I got a quick second stun.

He must have mic'd off and said "Jesus Christ..." with a cold sweat watching you demolish the Juggernaut in record time.

I just tried doing this, replacing the Zimmerman with a bazooka, and I just cant seem to do it whatsoever. Before the stun is even finished Rusty starts his lines, and the Juggernaut commonly zooms across the arena before I can get the final assault charge blow in, ruining everything. Starting to think they changed the Juggernaut's behavior since this video, especially since it shook me off a LOT more than in your run of it

Basically no death and no reset from checkpoint, 5 minute max time, 1 health kit used max, boss beaten in under a minute, ammo used is less than 50% and having greater than 50% hp left by the end of the boss fight... I needed to do all of that to get S-rank, might have less but completing that checklist gets you it...

I wondered what would happen if you defeated the juggernaut before Rusty has to dip out. Well now I know

Unfortunately, restarting from checkpoint docks your rank down (which I had done about a few dozen times)

Restarting from a checkpoint eliminates any chances for an S-Rank. Also, most, if not all, missions require you just to go fast and minimize ammo usage. Some missions have a few exceptions.

not every game has to be played for forever dude. honestly i got all endings, and i might go for s-ranking every mission if i feel like it, but after that, i'm a-ok with putting the game down. touch some grass or at let yourself enjoy another game, you'll be a lot happier that way.

Brainlet steam gamer take. Games are to be enjoyed for however long it lasts for you, they dont all HAVE to be replayable. The weapons are there to try out different builds and story paths, go do PVP or play Souls if you want multiplayer. 🤷🏻‍♂️ “Fuck. This cheesecake pancake was so good, yet it only can be eaten once.
