So, I looked up the definition to see if I was wrong. But no matter the case, this version is definitely better than the original. I have been listening to it all day :)

@M P Because mainstream was and should never be correlated to dance music. the guys who tried to make dance music popular back in 2010 fucked everything up. Now im seeing that its coming back to what dance music was back in 2000-2008. Lets hope it comes back.

Por eso es que no deben andar criticando a la ligera que él quiera experimentar con estilos diferentes. Ya se sabe desde hace tiempo que Armin saca el estilo comercial que sea, y luego (o casi al mismo tiempo) saca la versión Trance o Club Mix, para complacer a los puristas del Trance. De hecho puso ambas versiones en el mismo show de ASOT del jueves, y solo esperó dos días de publicada la original (viernes), para publicar el Club Mix, cuando generalmente espera al menos 1 semana para hacerlo. Eso dice que aunque pruebe con un nuevo estilo: Pop, Funk, Drum and Bass, Psy comercial, etc, nunca dejará de hacer Trance. Desde que hizo 'This is what it feels like', ya viene variando los estilos. Canciones como: I need you, Therapy y Sunny Days, también fueron muy criticadas, pero luego les sacó el Club Mix y se quedaron tranquilos. Incluso 'Sex, Love & Water' (quizás su peor canción) no tuvo un buen Club Mix, pero Mark Sixma le hizo un buen remix (el de Sunnery James y Marciano tampoco es malo). Wild Wild Son gustó a la mayoría en su versión original y no es Trance, pero igual le sacó el Club Mix y es aún mejor. Luego Richard Durand le sacó el remix y la mejoró aún más. En fin, el hecho es que ya la gente no debería sorprenderse de lo que hace Armin hoy día. Está variando y probando nuevos estilos para mantenerse en la "moda" actual. Busca llegar a más gente en estos tiempos donde los gustos son más genéricos y 'poperos', pero la realidad es que jamás ha dejado el Trance. Cada vez que saque una canción que no sea Trance, piensen que la versión Club Mix (más los remixes posteriores), vendrán luego. Armin ya es un artista, no solo un productor de Trance. Eso deben entenderlo los puristas del Trance. Pasa igual con los sets. En los Mainstage de Ultra y Tomorrowland toca música más comercial, y en los escenarios de ASOT ya es solo Trance. Los tiempos han cambiado. Te lo escribo a ti por el comentario que hiciste en la versión original de esta canción.

@@gabrielperera2144 nadie lo niega, pero nunca esperas encontrarle pop a alguien que hace trance, y me atrevo a criticarlo, NO SEAS ESCLAVO DEL GENERO, pero al final de cuentas vienes a ver a Armin es porque vienes a escuchar trance, si quieres pop buscas artistas pop, quieres metal, buscas artistas del género y no esperas encontrarle un tema pop a metálica o a selena gomez un tema gótico, pero en fin a Armin lo rescata que puede hacer muy buen trance con cualquier genero y es por eso uno de los mejores DJ del trance

@@diannechacon96 Claro, es que lo entiendo. Sobre todo para los fans que lo siguen desde sus inicios es más difícil de asimilar verlo hacer algo tan comercial jaja. Pero para los que se ha ganado en los recientes años (más jóvenes), ya lo verán normal que saque de cualquier género sin olvidar el Trance. Es evidente que él es conocido por el Trance (lo sabe hasta él mismo), y que su fama principal es por esa base. Pero se nota que es muy curioso musicalmente, y le gusta experimentar nuevos estilos (lo cual admiro y aplaudo porque no cualquiera se atreve a hacerlo). Por algo preguntó lo que opinan sobre la otra versión jajaja. Capaz que no hace más una canción con ese estilo si ve que de verdad no es bien recibida. Depende. Por ejemplo con Blah Blah Blah, a mucha gente no le gustó porque tampoco es Trance (aunque tampoco Pop), pero al final resultó ser la canción más comercial y rentable que ha hecho en su carrera (más $$$). Él sabe que si pega más canciones como esa, haría más dinero, y por tanto seguirá tratando de hacer similares. Pero si por el contrario no gustan y no dan el resultado esperado, dudo que siga experimentando, sabiendo que con el Trance le irá mejor. Tendrá que ver que recepción tiene 'Lonely for you' la original, para ver si entonces más adelante se arriesgaría a colaborar con un(a) artista más Pop tipo Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, etc. De todas formas, me niego a creer que sea capaz de transformarse en un Calvin Harris, Alesso, Chainsmokers, o el actual David Guetta, los cuales lo único que producen es Pop. Una cosa es que le guste experimentar y probar estilos diferentes, y otra que a abandone sus raíces del Trance por lo comercial netamente (como Tiesto). Ya lo hubiese hecho antes, en mi opinión. Lo que si hay que aceptar es que es poco probable que solo produzca Trance como antes, pero del resto no me preocupo, tengo claro que el Trance no lo dejará nunca. Se le nota que ama ese género y es el que más disfruta. Aparte también tiene el proyecto de Gaia pendiente.

It all comes down to the listener's perspective really. Do i find it bad that a artist like AvB is trying something new? Not one bit. I like more diverse tracks like Star Theme, Darkstar, Zoccalo & Old Skool. However i do not support these types of tracks who are created for the sake of being a "club mix" when in reality it's a completely different track from the original. I were fine when it was I Need You. But after nearly three years of this...it gets a bit stale.
