this is so awesome, everytime i get on this channel I learn something new. Most of this standing clinch is new to me, even though i trained in Judo for almost 7 years. quick question.. If I grab my opponents wrist and peel it down.. wouldnt he be able to do the same thing to me? Or does it come down to who gets the wrist quicker? Thanks alot for your work!!

Bombastik derTeutone Yeah it depends on many factors like anything else... positioning, strength, stamina, speed, sweat, timing, will and knowledge. Get your position and execute!

he called it the best martial arts channel on you tube. he is wrong. this is the best channel on youtube. judge a thing by what it is: if it's a comedy channel, how funny is it? this channel endevours to teach grappling, and succeeds to the highest level. I could gush about this channel for a long time. Absolute gold. Used the wedding sweep tonight. The Special is my go-to against big guys who drive in. 200% has replaced 100%. I have to stop myself. Gold.

Hell yeah!
Icy Mike is correct, you guys are AWESOME!!! This video is great! Icy Mike is AWESOME too! Stopped into his school for a lesson when I visited the Myrtle Beach area for vacation. He provided great instruction.
Yes indeed Real recognizes real. The street science is the true science. We thank you all the way from Ghana, West Africa. I am a Street Fight Scientist I used to get bullied by an ENTIRE school and neighborhood, but I woke up one day and created my own style of MMA. I couldn't afford any classes and I didn't have any KZread. I was forced to study the fights in my hood and learn from the mistakes of others now I am my own Master of my school here in Ghana after many tears and beatdowns from Bullies. Thank you that the Youth, The Seniors and the bullied have a place to come so that they can learn to survive the tough streets all over the world. We here in my C.O_W.S. class called Catch-On Warrior Science - created in Washington DC when I was only 15 years old - I am 54 years old now teaching it in Ghana - Thank you.

IcyMike said you were the best martial arts youtuber ever. Gotta say, I agree. Your videos are such that I can absolutely learn things from them, you break things down so well and it really is like being in the gym with you.

That’s what I strive for! 🤙
i love drags, shit works like a dime. not a fighter but they do open up many opportunities
I like this street aspect. Tons of great details from the shaking the shoulders back and forth to sliding the hand down the body once you have the wrist.
Free lessons from experts in a street dojo, with drive by audience participation. Yeah, best dojo setup in the planet.
Holy cow there are even time stamps in the description! That's some awesome dedication thank you!
Saludos desde La Plata, Buenos Aires. Buenos vídeos.
Icy Mike told me to come on over. Your channel is great! Keep up the good work fellas!!)))))

Love that Anton included some Greco Roman technique.
Love the street stuff!
Thanks Brian, the street stuff is a lifesaver.
This is awesome! More like this please! Your tittle of best martial arts channel on KZread is well deserved
One of the best grappling channels.
Best armdrag video I've ever seen.
This is the best martial arts channel. And there are some great ones. This one is my must watch. And I have so much catching up to do to view all the videos made before I discovered it.
G'day from Australia!!! You just blew my mind Coaches!!!!!!!!
Support from Croatia!!!!
Great video Coach Brian! I would love to see more videos like this in the future. Videos showing how bjj and wrestling techinques can be slightly modified for maximum effectiveness in the streets. Youre incredible. Thank you for all the time you spend helping the community.

David Mack There are a million “what if’s” Thankfully not everyone knows what I am showing just like most people don’t know boxing. Having grappling skill is really important to be able to stay safe in a real situation. The average wrestler will destroy your average boxer on the street and it’s not even close.
Being unemployed for the last 6 months has led me to rediscover my love of grappling and your channel has really helped. I'm gonna be moving soon and I've got a BJJ club waiting for me (my brother's) when I do. I'm really looking forward to teaching Judo again even just a day a week for a BJJ school. I'm really excited and looking forward to changing up my game for BJJ.
You guys are great and my go to video. I'm 62 and been doing BJJ now for 9 mo.
When I saw the title of Icy Mike's video, your site was the first one that came to mind. Teach Me Grappling was also the first site on YT that I subed to. Thanks for all the help, Brian!

You are welcome!
When I was in Junior High School I never messed with anyone on the wrestling team since I felt that Junior High School wrestling was probably the greatest fighting technique in the world. Also, Anton would have been a regional champion down South in the territory days of pro wrestling.
Are we just going to ignore that sick RV? 😂 Nice vid, love armdrags, they have so many applications.
2:58 in JKD and Wing Chun this is known as elbow control, and it's very useful and many positions particularly on the ground

Yes, bicep/elbow tie ups are quite common. They are even in boxing. Used quite a lot in any sport that involves the clinch including muay thai to check the striking hand.
I also like that you have another perspective from who you are actively grappling with instead of just being the expert boss man on everything.
I gotta agree with Mike about your show. You are humble, friendly, and direct. Those are the best first moves in a fight and not always shown well. You're break downs are great for practical situations without the fantasy play.
Best one yet, simple!
I watched few videos by now, and each one of them was gold. I learnt stuff I know I can add to my tool box as highly useful. I'm glad I found this channel.
That's some beautiful movement
Thank you for passing the ball to him and getting the ball back as well. Solid stuff from both teachers!
Very very good basic that can be go on to advance.
So good, thank you for sharing
This is gold. Thank u so much Coach Brian!
Top shelf vid, thanks guys!
Thank you for everything
This is very practical.. Great stuff..I've never seen the shake before.
You guys do have the best grappling channel out there 🤙
Wow! This is might be the best self-defense video I've ever seen, and I've watched thousands.
Thanks! Always something to learn or to think about! Cheers guys!
Great tutorial. Thanks
I agree with Icy Mike, great channel
Love it.
It's really interesting to actually see these moves in an actual street fight.
BEAUTIFUL
Thanks! 😊
I've been watching your daily videos for well over a year now. I think your method of teaching has always been great. This new style of shooting with the camera man moving around the two grapplers and the excellent lightning from outside is fantastic. Hope you shoot plenty more videos like this. Cheers.
I prefer the Russian drag but I love your take on it. By using the web hand to block the arm you are also creating space between you and your opponent which will block ALL attempts at a throw against you...
Good work guys
great stuff!
Great video defenetly helpful
Awesome video .
That’s nice guys wonderful technique keep them coming.
I missed those long videos. Thank you coach
This is the only channel I have notifications turned on for
I came from Hart to Hurt. I'm glad i discover your Chanel. Thanks!!!
I sub to quite a few channels, I got to agree with icy mike, this is the best, hope it blows up even more.
PURE GOLD! also funny that you mentioned Mike in this video because he showed something very similar for similar purposes.
7:36 Wow! Good Stuff! Thank you!!
I tell all my mates to watch your stuff and we’ve got a tonne of new white belts in the gym at the moment so I’ll send them your way too. Also I’m loving the short clips you’ve begun posting recently, they’re a great little refresher, but dw I still always watch the detailed videos first. Ps. My favourite thing in Jiu Jitsu atm is seeing the surprised looks on people’s faces when I ghost escape and darce them. It’s hilarious. Keep it up!
You dudes rock 👍 keep it up.
great video
Harry + Micheal Bisbing = 👌
Cool that you included so many defenses against underhooks
Good stuff
Lovely stuff from UK
Yeeuuh coach nice outdoor edition, educational as always😁
I've subscribed already, very good job and great presentation skills there with positive atitude, thanks
What a highly technical and practical video. I feel like this is the potential of wrestling for combat being truly expressed. Which is what I've always wanted to see like with Randy Couture for example. This looks as solid as his videos but with a better camera lmao.
תודה רבה
SAF CONTENT!! TY Coach Brian!!!

Hey coach, concerning self-defense, read this new book “Myths and blind spots in the fighting arts’ world”.

Awsome up to a point , once you have the underhood and wrist control . It's easier to do a tai-otoshi than wrestling to get the back and then going for the take down. It just looks like one transition to many
Nice! Maybe a few more self defense moves?? With times like they are, some people may resort to desperate measures, so it's good to be prepared.

Holy Cr@p ! That commercial came on with UpChuck Schumer scared the zhit out of me !
I'm here because of Icy Mike ! I didn't know your channel before :)
Super great technique Just gotta watch out for those Connot McGregor shoulder strikes
Coach brian it's always a pleasure watching your video. I got a question regarding stances. I'm an orthodox striker but i grapple with my right side forward, how should i incorporate those two factors in a fight?
goood shit!
Arm Drag is one of Danaher's most preferred takedowns.
This is great! Coach, could you guys work more wrestling/jiujitsu for self-defense? 🤙
When unknown contact approaches. Watch the hands if poisible -Not eyes or face. Hands & Telegtshic shoulder lurches. Eyes may be window to soul but the hands are the window to intent as john corea at a tive says.
How to defeat that handgrab: Drop your weight slightly to make your opponent think he's got you and rotate your arm upward towards his thumb with a nice Karate "snap." His grip will break and then you knee him in the nuts or bladder as hard as you can. He's not going to "bully" you any longer.
Looked like you could hit a seoi nage off that set up as well- would you consider using a judo throw like that in a street fight?

Niccccce
Would love to come and train with you. Unfortunately Im in Connecticut. Nothing like hand on training. Great content!
Love the channel been a fan for a long time. Wondering if you could do any videos for teaching good control techniques and takedowns for law enforcement? I have been a LEO for over 8 years. Have been doing jiu jitsu for over a year. Love the arm drag very practical to use. Maybe a handful of more options for street use. Thanks it would be greatly appreciated.
I'm just excited to watch Adam Sandler teach all these cool moves 😜👍🏻
Fucking awesome love your stuff coach Brian
I'm just a novice, but one thing to consider when it comes to doing something like a slam from rear bodylock on the pavement is the possibility of manslaughter if he cracks his head. Obviously if there's more than one of them or weapons are involved, whatever, anything goes... but if it's just a hand to hand, one on one going for the RNC from the back is probably the more stable option in the metacontext.

A mat return isn't likely to force someone's head to hit the ground but something like a back arch might, then there are also other takedowns from the back one could do too
Please do a video on a hair grab this situation
