Welcome to Arknights music here we have, Gregorian Nightsynth, a recreation of every classical piece you have ever loved, actual Disney music, sea shanties, traditional Chinese music and my personal favourite, a song that literally sounds like how fish would sing if they had vocal chords.

You can think of arknights as a story of another earth, different cultures and characters represented by different genres, for example german equivalent characters usually have classical music themes, vatican has dubstep etc. in this case first was an italian character, 2nd was russian (obviously), and 3rd would be something similar to balkanik culture probably

W? Viking culture? She is a Sarkaz, their home city is Kazdel, and they are destined to be hated by everyone on earth. She has more in common with Jews than Vikings lol. In fact the Abyssal hunters are morel likely to be Viking culture because their homeland Aegir is literally named after the realm of the Seas which Njordr presides over. Heck Skadi is literally a name of a Norse god.

@@yammoto148 i could use your argument for surtr which is a giant from norse mythology, but i agree i just jumped the gun on that one, i researched it a bit more and some guy who made a light novel of explaining how it might be just "the balkans", and seeing as they have a lot of races in to one, one of them being vampires id tend to agree

As a note most if not all character themes for Arknights are copywrite friendly. These 3 songs are so good just to show how diverse AK music is. How funny you said it sounded like a wolf howling cause the character is a wolf. (Thorns in You, My favorite of the 3) Requiem is Russian i believe. I dont mind the pausing dont worry i just found it funny how each one is perfectly paused right before each change for renegade in the first half of the song haha.

arknigths has one if not the bigest mos complex world in gaming, they are even videos explaining the geography of terra... and each nation tends to follow some kind of music style, even when they realy like to mix genres, like ebenhols theme, a mix of classical music and rock, or the "holy dubstep" its amazing

the first one is a Wolf and a Mafia Boss(Italian Jazz) , the second is a Russian War Orphan(A balad about the loneliness of War) and the last is literally a terrorist mercenary (Is basically her CV)

Personally in regards to the songs presented my favorite one was Requiem, and if you want a similar one to that one here's one: Arknights EP - [Прощание]

Thorns in You is just divine, the mood of the song is conveyed flawlessly, you also guessed that the character is older than she looks as she's 28. If you didn't expect how Requiem would sound and liked it I really recommend Ständchen, it has a classical feeling but with a few twists, easily something you could hear in a musical these days.

You don't have to be worried, There is no copyright for all EP videos of Arknights also please make this reaction a series with more episodes!!!!

Arknights is a gacha game that I'm not hesitate to pay real money because I know that they will cook these banger for us. Every song is different because the world of arknights is like a pallalel to our world (plus rock cancer) each characters are from different countries and have different backgrounds that can be expressed to these song. Arknights got your back homie. They have all type of music, what you want. And my favorite one is Radiant from prewios reaction and then Reneged. But I was introduce to Arknights music by song Speed of Light. You should check it as well. There are so much what you need to hear. Please continue with your reactions. Love your videos.

Well, none of these three songs is really my favorite, but as a Russian I will choose Requiem, especially since its text is taken from the poem of the same name by a Russian poetess of the early 20th century, and the music is clearly created on the basis of Russian romances (which took a lot from Gypsy music, not Italian). Of the three Russian songs from Arknights, my favorite is Lullabye, which is sung with the most Russian pronunciation. And it really is an OST, present during the gameplay. The music from the Il Siracusano event (Thorns in You, Go My Way, Sentenced and the Signore dei Lupi boss theme) is one of the most stylish. Jazz orchestra, it just works Renegade was even nominated for the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. And this year it received this award, being part of the Ambience Synesthesia 2023 concert (I recommend watching it, especially 2022).

Fav of these 3 is Renegade.

These themes were actually a fun and interesting choice for a good first look into arknights character themes! For Thorns in You, the character is my personal favorite, Cellinia Texas! Known in the game simply as Texas/Texas the Omertosa. Her arc revolves heavily around the Italian mafia with many callbacks to The Godfather in artstyle so the choice of a slow jazz piece reminescint of the old mafia movies fit really well imo! The singer also did an amazing job and I envy her ability in vibratos. While not my favorite theme its still amazing to listen to! Requiem! This is actually a theme you here in the game while we face a great conflict! The "creature" you see in the background is actually the singer who sings of his long life of conflict. The bunny girl in the front is his daughter. This piece sounded so sad and tired to me but even more so after actually expiereincing it in the game. Genuinely one of my favorite themes found in the game itself. Onto the last song we have Renegade! This theme is for W, the demonesque character you saw on the cover. She is in fact a mercenary and while I wouldnt call her a puppet master shes much smarter than many give her credit for, and she likes it that way. Shes cocky with good reason and enjoys creating chaos so its a fun theme reflecting that. While rap isnt my genre I still enjoy this theme! A fun fact is that Renegade was nominated for the game awards back in 2021 iirc!

You already noticed it but arknights tries to get every genre and style and mixes, twists it and makes it their own. I love how you try to break down the songs so i wont say the title but to give you an idea that each song is deep not only in lyrics but also in production One of the recent songs mixes pop with metal. Have you heard of catholic dubstep? Some of the songs Even if the lyrics repeats in a chorus, on the second go they mix it up by adding new instruments, changing the tempo or straight up changing the genre.

And that is just a 4 themes in total. Out of.. hundreds? Does anybody counted them? Anyway, it is just a brief introductions to Arknights music)

Different nations ingame have different genres for music but at the same time characters from the same nation have different genres that reflect their views on the country. Thorns in you, Sentenced and Go my way all come from the same event but dont feel alike at all. Also a lot of songs share the same composer.
