Swire Alter and Eyia Alter! Huh? Never saw that coming, and Swire as a specialist and Eyia as a medic! Now that’s a twist that I also didn’t see coming either!!

I didn't expected for Swire and Eyjafjalla to be have alters but im not complaining!!! Also the skins are so goddamn good and finally Ceylon has a skin!!!!

I had just yesterday made a joke about the only reason Eyja is still the best caster was because Reed Alter was a medic. I think Eyja took that as a challenge. I am happy with the operators, but kinda disapointed they, again, made the limited a alter. I was happy With Muel

I'd prefer a limited alter over releasing someone like Logos or Ascalon in a summer banner honestly. Only Neon really makes sense as a non-alter summer limited since Hellagur made his debut on HoSF.

TWO Fire-based Operators somehow became healers, whoddathunk??? That said, FINALLY our first Wandering Medic. Gonna be hard to beat how Lumen not only changed Therapists but dealing with ALL status effects, PERIOD. Highly looking forward to the new ops!

I'm slightly disappointed that Eyja got an Wandering Medic alter when Ceylon exists and is outperformed by Lumen in everyway as a Therapist. Could've been a great way to get Ceylon out of the shadows.

limited gacha alters have always been popular characters. Skadi, Ch'en, Nearl, Texas, Gavial. Because let's be real, who'd sell more, Eyja who is well liked and loved by many for being a powerful op, cute design and endearing personality, or Ceylon, a free op that's barely ever mentioned in popularity discussions and is outperformed even before Lumen by Whisperain.

@@poofinator4952 Yes I understand that. But nearly every other alter operator has had a good reason to exist in both gameplay and or lore. Either because their kit had been outperformed by another operator or the lore finally made the character develop into someone new. Skadi, Ch'en, Nearl, Reed, Gavial in gameplay were outperformed. In lore they also were stronger so the alters make sense. Texas and Specter felt in gameplay quite good so no need for a reason there. But in lore they had quite the good reason to change. I get Eyja will sell more and I hope the lore will explain why she changed... But it sadly won't make a barely ever mentioned operator like Ceylon become popular if we keep ignoring her... Given what Eyja alter can do as a 6star Wandering Medic, Ceylon would've been talk of the town for sure if she'd gotten the alter. Kind of how almost nobody ever bothered with Reed until her alter appeared.

@@Xochi_Mictlan6969They’re both 5*, and it’s a bit hard to say how much they affect the meta without knowing their kits. Even Eyjalter doesn’t seem like she’ll powercreep the game, current wandering medics are already sufficient and often not needed even when there is elemental damage.
