Arkham Horror Strategy Guide: Passing Skill Tests
The second in the Quick Learner strategy guide series. Here we'll talk about Passing Skill Tests. Of note, we'll look at how to determine your odds for passing tests and the general difficulty of tests throughout a campaign. I give some suggestions for what skill values your investigators should be able to hit, as well as detail various ways to boost your skill value.

It's really nice to see a new channel pop up for this great game. I've played it a little bit off and on since it came out and I do like it a lot but it can be frustrating.
Man, your presentation is fantastic.

Glad you liked it!!
for me as a new player the Video is awesome
I pulled 5 auto-fail tokens in a row in my second game, it was unreal and became comical.

This game has taught me all of the ways to summon the auto-fail token!

I have never seen more than three. Although I did roll 4/4 bless tokens into an auto fail once.
Great video.
Great video as all the others. You took Shroud, Revelation tests and Enemies Fight values for the graphs of Carcosa, right? I'm looking forward for the Chaos Manipulation video!

Thanks! I believe I took those from Dunwich. They're not just revelation tests, since I added things like the Parleys in 1B and of course things like Frozen in Fear are not Revelation tests, but you get the idea.

@@Quick_Learner Yup. Okay. Very nice analysis. I'm creating a Bob Jenkins deck and wanted to take this into consideration
Could you do a video on sealing? Cthonian stone is a favorite of mine but I feel like I'm splashing it in and not really playing towards sealing

I'm not sure if I'm going to include that in the Token Manipulation video or it'll be a separate thing, but absolutely I'll cover it! It's a tough one because there aren't that many Sealing cards yet, and the Bless/Curse seal cards play very differently from Cthonian Stone/Protective Incantation, so I'll need to think about it a little more!
Your videos are great man, but for the love of Hasthur please add a little background music, something else than the voidness of that white noise

I'm doing this to the new videos, not to worry. I actually have tinnitus, so I never get the pleasure of any voidness and didn't realized it bothered other people, but trust me, hearing ringing 24/7 is its own level of horrors.

I vote for just the opposite. I really like these videos just the way they are. No background noises necessary.

@@Quick_LearnerNo sound is better for me, as I'm listening very carefully to what your every word is and I'm trying to suss out your deeper meanings. As a beginner, and in a beginner video, understanding the connections is the hard part. Music may obfuscate or at least it would annoy me as I'm replaying the same sections over and over again to make sure I get the concepts.

@JoelEZ1 good news, haven't been adding anything to any of the latest videos
