I loved the 70s and 80s uniforms....except the red pants in 1978...
They don't show it in this video, but that lady at 5:36 when she raised up, said "WHY?" I remember seeing this on the Lou Holtz show and the sports cast that night.

Alot, this rivalry is deep. The NCAA in the early 1960s actually banned these two schools from playing each other in the regular season due to fan violence.
Jones had a strange throwing motion but could throw the ball a mile...Brother of Bert Jones I believe???

Yes! Bert is his older brother. Ruston, La. boys who played for often-powerhouse Ruston HS.
