Your versions of Pokémon Indigo league do they have many of the banned episodes included? Also I have a large collection of blu ray and dvd anime myself (mostly after watching your anime reviews and deciding after replaying the video over and over again that I would decide on watch/purchasing it) I’ve recently just purchased monster from Australia as you recommended but you do undermine it alot. My friend who is Hollywood mad and has no interest in anime praised the hell out it which to me this anime will take my second most favourite anime spot of all time just under deathnote (as that anime gave life to your channel and was one of the anime that I would really like to purchase on blu ray but just have not found the time to do so) also your garden of sinners review made me purchase the exact same boxset as the one you are presenting to us at the end of the video. (£80-100) is the blu ray which I would NEVER dream of paying. Thanks for recommending so much anime and one day I will have a bigger collection than you... well you had a head start seeing as you’re 9yrs older than me😕 and if you feel so inclined please leave a heart on this comment so I know you have read this🤗

Thankfully my bf helped me get both sets of Brotherhood via eBay and season one of Black Butler via that or Amazon. Eventually bought season two from my bff (long story on that) and still need FMA 2003. Only have a few of the single volumes of that. I also got Shiki at Best Buy after finding out Funimation was losing that too as I haven’t watched it yet and my bff has a one time limit on borrowing her copy as it’s her favorite anime.

This video was a really nice, relaxing watch. I like seeing when people have little stories about what order they bought stuff in and how or why they bought them, or little grievances with releases, since nobody has the same experiences with building a collection, so I’m glad you got around to making this. I’m the same with buying physical even if I can watch it through streaming, I kind of get hung up on preserving stuff for me to watch/read/play for if I ever want to again, and the uncertainty with streaming means I still buy physical when I can.

lmao I'm on the opposite end, I live in Germany and import all of my anime DVD/Blu-rays from the UK. It's not like there aren't many anime coming out here, it' just that I prefer english subs for some reason and the german releases don't have that and that they are stupidly expensive. For example, Dragon Maid, an anime with 13 episodes, they released it here in THREE volumes, each like 30€. That's insane. UK? I bought it as soon as it came out, last month I believe, for 25€, the entire series.

I don't blame you for importing, especially when it comes to getting sub options.

I know you probably don’t take video requests but the video you made about not liking to finish anime really made me want a video where you go through other people’s anime related fears and discuss them. It’s helped me reading that comment section to know I’m not alone in some of mine, the primary one being my fear to go back to anime I watched when I was younger that had a big impact on me, and being disappointed if I don’t like it as much. Clannad and Haruhi I’m also scared to watch again because I’m not sure if I’ll like it now.

Both of my aunts on my mum's side know my love for anime and one of them took me to an anime art exhibition in London that was being held last year, so I got to see loads of cool stuff there (including a full-size Astro Boy model and Colossal Titan blow up). Great video! Damn that's a good collection. Here's a weird suggestion that popped into my head. You mention you have a few things on these shelves you haven't actually seen yet. Put all these unwatched shows on a random generator list and when you have a free moment, hit the random generator and see what the randomizer picks out for you.

Glass reflection is that channel you like from childhood to this day. Arkada is one of those genuine people that you love to listen for his honesty. Unlike many, he does not use cheap tricks to boost popularity but stays true to his content. His opinions and jokes are respectful and meaningful. He gives a good name to anime fans by maintaining a professional decorum at the same time not using indecent language or suggesting vulgar shows. Keep up the good work and stay blessed. Greetings of peace.

Arkada, I just recently had to sell my Excel Saga manga and I kinda miss them, and then you mentioning the anime on this vid made me silently cry. I only have the blu ray Studio Ghibli Hiyao Miyazaki collection and a few precious boxes of anime. I don't really have to space for much more (I have way too many books covering all surface areas) but maybe one day I'll rebuy. Like, I love my Blu Ray Wolf's Rain and Princess Tutu DVDs to bits. It also reminds me I REALLY loved Vandread as a kid... maybe I should check that out again. Thanks for letting me think back with the video, even if I haven't watched as much anime as you ;)

Instead of doing the usual review week of awesome give back to yourself for how 2020 has been and do a week of the anime that you need a excuse to watch. It would be anime that the majority probably haven't seen and or like you want to rewatch

A pretty impressive and sizable collection! So glad to have started seriously collecting in 2013 when blu-rays were much more prevalent. Would have been a nightmare to grab DVD's only for a BD rerelease down the line since one of the reasons I love owning my favorite shows is to be able to watch them in the best quality available.

Really nice collection. I think my own collection is about 2/3 of yours. I too btw stopped collecting (for the most part) a few years ago. Though that has more to do with my interests changing to martial arts, tabletop RPGs and video games which generally eat up my time and money. I do plan on picking up Psycho Pass 3 when it gets released because I thought PP3 was really good and I already own PP1 and the movie (though not PP2 for obvious reasons) Also...yes! Please make a video on Excel Saga! I love that show and I watched it for the first time about five years ago. It's still amazing! My favorite comedy hands down!

Really nice collection you got! It reminds me to buy more anime as well, but i live in a normal sized apartment with my kids and my wife - i just have one shelf for me, which contains exactly 42 boxes (i counted it), stacked behind, in the dark corner in a closet :-( But i have still some space left in there and i am planning to buy more blu-ray releases from my favorite shows. Also i am very proud that i still have my first very anime dvd i ever bought -> Devil Hunter Yohko ;-)
