You know all things considered, Arishem is a good boss. His employees directly disobeyed him and screwed up his whole plan but rather than losing it he decided to allow them to "explain" themselves and see if he was in the wrong. More bosses could learn from Arishem.

Celestials are beings beyond the petty concept of "Good and Evil". It's not that Arishem is being kind or benevolent rather than angry and vengeful... but that he's being logical, and wants to know the reason for what has happened and why his Eternals have killed one of his kind rather than doing what they were programmed to do. If it's not satisfactory, he'll finish the job himself.

Another-other one can only turn inanimate objects' materials into other materials. If they were created to DESTROY the deviants, why the bloody hell would you give them pointless abilities? Just give them all lasers, fire, and other destructive powers. Wtf... The rest are probably rather strong, but not godly-strong, just Avengers-strong. Arishem understands that the Eternals must have had a reason among themselves to sacrifice a whole Celestial for humanity, so rather than taking immediate revenge upon humanity by destroying their planet right then and there and basically making Tiamut's sacrifice be for nothing, he accepts the possibility of the Eternals' wisdom by reviewing and analyzing their memories before drawing his conclusions upon the Eternals' decision. For a being of such cosmic power and significance, I find that quite honorable.

For example: “a black hole (pulls in matter) is just a wormhole without a white hole on the other end of it, the presence of a white hole would stop the singularity having infinite density & resulting in the formation of a ‘bridge’, ending in the white hole (dispels matter)

Honestly, when I went to see Eternals in the theatre, and it got to the start of this scene, I thought they were just going to do the happy ending, prep the post credits scene/s, and go from there... I didn't imagine that Arishem would make a PERSONAL appearance to Earth. It really gave me chills, and I'm excited to see where the MCU goes from here on. We've already had a potential appearance of Cyttorak in the Multiverse of Madness trailer... and there's no doubt we'll get Galactus sooner or later when it comes to the Fantastic 4... So which other ultimate power beings will we get to see? :D
