And one of the most unique, if you ask me. Especially in terms of guitar playing.

Yup. I'd personally add Julian Lage and Govan Guthrie... We definitely live in amazing times as guitar fans.
This guy is so good. What a great phrasing.
Pandemic is a b#tch...Stumbling upon a new an amazing guitarist that has dynamic tone, feel and an array of unique colors is priceless. Inspiring indeed 😊
Incredible tone and playing, great video, Ariel!
Love that little switcher. Looks great - too. Perfect size.
Cheers for the Victoria reverberato. Amazing unit, very much unsung to my knowledge. Nothing does it what it does at low, gentle levels of reverb. I still remember when I got it, a friend came over to check it out. I played and he was like ‘beautiful fat tone, but Turn in the reverb so I can hear it.” It was on at a very low setting. And when I turned it off he was floored at how much it had been subtly adding.
That guitar is just beautiful.
Pretty tones and playing
Loved it, Ariel!
Dig it for sure! Thanks. The JWG w Ellis pickups though, wow.
It's hard to put into words just how perfect and beautiful every single second of Ariel's playing is. Unreal mastery! X
Jeez that clean tone was nasty 🔥
He gets some great tones from his hands the pedals are just tools to give him that Ariel zazz!!

He’s playing a $4k guitar through a two rock. My dead uncle would sound good playing through that rig.
Love Ariel's playing. Always so tasty. Amazing tones. Thanks for sharing Ariel.
The playing though 🙌
How are you liking that new automatron vs your other fuzz and dirt/preamp pedals?
I’d love to know how this setup was recorded seeing as he’s at home? Sounds fantastic
That Jan Ray sounds amazing
Ariel is a legend in the making. Really unique sounding dude, which is fucking hard to achieve
Interesting on the dirt side how similar Ariel's choices and usage are to Jeff McErlain's recent pedalboard videos. That King Tone fuzz is the hardest thing to replicate.
Awesome reverse reverb woah 😱
Has Ariel posted put out some of those H9 presets? If not, can we get on that? They are so good!
Nice pedalboard Was wondering which mode on Walrus Tremolo pedal you use the most: Standard or Harmonic? Thanks.
They never do the signal chain in order. It matters to know what order the pedals are in.

With enough experience, it should be obvious? Ariel doesn't hold nobody's hands yah? 😄
Cool Brosef!!
Man he’s an awesome player for sure. I wish there was a shot of the whole board. Maybe a list of the pedals and even the board itself. Maybe I missed it 😬. Either way such a great player to listen to for sure

Welp there ya go! Lol thanks !!
Does anyone know the make of that guitar case/holder in the background? I know, least interesting detail by far in an excellent video, but it's exactly what I've been looking for.

You can get something like this from Thomann. It's their in house brand, Thon, and it's built like a tank. I used one to ship all my guitars from the UK to Japan and the thing arrived at the other end without a scratch! It will, however, set you back around 600 euros...
One of the best pedal setups out there. Excellent tones, not a giant board.

Do you know the name of all of them? I'm a rookie trying to get into pedals. Lol

@@schmosterballs92 lets see... Chase Bliss Tonal Recall (slapback delay), Walrus Monument V2 (harmonic tremolo), Vemuram Jan Ray (smooth overdrive), Kingtone Mini Fuzz Germanium (mostly stacked), Chase Bliss Dark World (reverb), Hudson Broadcast AP (overdrive set pretty ‘lightly’), Eventide H9 (all kinds of modulation). Hope this helps! I might be missing something but that’s what i saw and recognised

Anything done with the fingers is in the fingers, being better at guitar is in the being better at guitar. Watch the analogman video where he says he’ll change a transistor and his most notable, big name players will say “this won’t work for me.” Tone is in the ears, whatever means you get there.

@@CenterThePendulum it comes down to the way something feels, and the way it inspires you to play. What less experienced don't understand is that playing a 6000$ amp doesn't suddenly make you sound amazing. They don't grasp the reality that if your touch and finesse aren't world class, your tone isn't world class. No piece of gear can compensate for how you play the instrument.. Especially when your right hand has the greatest impact on tone. It's the same situation with drums. You simply cannot buy your way into having great tone.
Love "Ariel Posen" rig videos

How is Ariel using the MC6 to switch in/out non-midi pedals? Is he using the ML5 too?

Checked on insta, he is indeed using an ML5
Forget his pedalboard, who's this guy's barber?
How is he controlling the pedals with a midi controller?
Ariel The Boss
great tone adn playing and stuff...but i'm mesmerized by that super hero hair
Thanks for doing this. Sounds great. What does the MC6 do? It is only hooked up to a few effects, right? It’s not hooked up to the overdrives/fuzzes?

I suddenly got interested in the signalchain. Obviously Ariel could change the order with the switcher, but i was wondering if he starts with the fuzz and drives and then goes to modulation or if it is indeed the other way around 🤷🏻♂️
@jimmydenny168

I would say with fair certainty he’s going pre amp-> fuzz-> drive
i take it your using the ML5?

I can’t find any compressor in your chain. You don’t use it?!
Open C!!...
somehow I know ariel would sound the same with a 10,000 dollar less rig in fact thats alot of denaro to sound like muddy waters circa 1960
"Rich .. sound" is right. Using a $500 pedal just for a simple slapback sound? Neato.
