I saw their names and was like "something's happened between them before..." but now as team-mates (technically)? With Aric semi-retired and not even driving in the same series? I'm genuinely wondering what the deal is between them. Add to that, it just so happened to be at Charlotte again.

No no no, not racism and two totally different scenarios here. When he did it to Larson he clearly intentionally wrecked him as retaliation and then got out of his car and went after a MUCH smaller person and kept shoving him over and over again even though Larson was trying to get away from him, not just a one and done. So people are calling him names now because he could dish it out against a much smaller guy but when it's someone his own size he wants nothing to do with it. His race is completely irrelevant.
