I genuinely think that every race from now on will be this good, it's safe to say that mclaren is the faster car and that norris finally is not afraid of fighting Verstappen, exited to see the rest of the season

I think he'll push hard and mess it up. Lewis will NOT finish the race. 3 safety cars. But I can see the max lando collision happening. Both lads are pushing hard and I love it. Whoever comes out on top definitely deserves it.

Lando actually got a 10 sec penalty for track limits, so if he passed max successfully, he would still end up P2

Both combatants have culpability, this battle could have continued as there was room to manuever. Track characteristics and the FIA rulings were at a fault in the incident. I think that the "FIA only goes strict against non-british drivers" is an exaggeration BUT after noticing how much time it took to ACTUALLY give Norris a penalty for exceeding track limits makes me think that FIA did it on purpose so he could keep battling with Max for 1st place. Also it is very suspicious that the penalty appeared on screen the moment Norris and Max had their "inchident". I'm sure thing would have gone differently if Piastry was 2nd instead of Norris

I think the three times of conflict before the collision was lando's fault but the main collision was both of theirs faults.

Silverstone ‘21. The punishment fits the crime not the consequences. Salt in the wounds when your rival takes you out on lap 1 and wins the race despite a 10-second penalty he chose to serve when it was the most advantageous to him without losing any position.

Consequences cannot be taken into account when handing over penalties

max shouldn’t have to take full responsibility for a crash he didn’t fully cause. lando is a good driver no doubt, but max is a great driver. watch the onboard. he didn’t move the wheel under braking, he followed the racing line and had the apex. it was his corner and lando should have backed out.

While I can see that the crash was Max’s fault, I don’t think he did it on purpose

We can all agree that those who watch f1 for simping are not true fans

I'll simplify it : Max is still a dirty driver but just hasn't had anyone near him on the track for years to show it. Norris is fast but is a whinger, and is not good at choosing the right moments to attack.

I don’t know why someone has to be at fault, just stfu and race if you crash you crash who cares

10 seconds for Max was more than enough, in f1 you don't punishment the outcome but the accident. And yes the accident was the mistake van max, but you need 2 people to tango, you can fully blame max for it. But stop crying about it, it's a championship and you want hard Racing and not for drivers to leave a door open than you will have a "boring" race and than people will cry about that.

Dont agree, all arguments regarding max being the cause of the crash have been debunked. Especially looking at the exact same situation last year between Verstappen and Sainz.

I'll give you last year, first ever 1-2 for Redbull, but let's be honest the dominance came from one side of the garage. Max was consistently beating his teammate by 15+ seconds, when merc was dominant it was "valterri this is James" consistently. Look at this year, checo, the benchmark for rbs dominance, can't get past 8th place in a race. Then there's Max, extracting more out of his car than anyone on the grid. Take him out of the rb seat and put any other driver in and mclaren would be winning.
