They don't sound all the same. Some of them are a little flat, some are sharp. Some are breathier and others more full. She only lipped them when she had bronchitis, she said this herself

godisadw not really. It all depends on what chord is being played and how it’s functioning. Plus no key signature is going to have you use c# and then eflat. It’s generally all sharps or all flats. Just because some notes are more common to see doesn’t mean theyre theoretically the correct notes to use

at first i was confused, what's that?? and i thought that it was belting. Then i found this vid and i was like "whaattt? this is whistle notes??" after i feel it, the second note F#6 finally i could feel that it is whistle notes, but the first note the bb6 one i still can't feel it as whistle notes. That feels or sounds like belting for me, cause it has a belting texture

yoga maulana i don’t think it’s possible to belt that high of a note, unless of course you want to damage your vocal cords. once you hit the sixth octave most singers use falsetto.

GIAW doesn’t have whistles, it has high falsettos. She changed the high falsetto for two performances on tour to whisfles and they sound different. Additionally, I don’t feel that the inagine whistles were pre-recorded, particularly because of the strain and tightness of her voice that carried through the entire performance. When she whistled, she was at that same place. Not sure why everyone thinks they weren’t live and additionally why she’d pre-record tight notes and make herself look bad to the trained ear.

When I said " compare the performances " I'm talking about the recent GIAW performances with the whistles ... Compare em and they will all sound the same . Lol . And why would she pre record it ? Huh .it's not impossible .. Mariah does it till now even with her pro whistle skills but u can tell if it's live or pre recorded ... Doesn't make them any less talented . I'm just saying .

JaeHyun brendon urie’s high note and Saturday night sounds more or less the same in every performance. are you gonna say those are prerecorded too? just because they sound similar/the same doesn’t mean they are. considering she’s only done it twice you can’t use that as a data point. there’s no pattern since it was only two performances. wait until she does at least 5-6 and if they all sound the same then you can say they’re prerecorded.

@@s.ourstiles Who knows .I don't listen to Brendon . So I don't care lol but I know that note and it's not a high note .it's just A5 lol . If u need to lipsync a5 then u can't sing it . Brendon is good and those are prolly all live and different each time ... Ariana's case is totally different . All of a sudden she's performing whistles live on the spot during concerts after concerts and the whistle all sound the same ? Lol it's obviously pre recorded . And u a fan or what ? Twice ? She been performing that throughout her tour and even on Coachella the other day . Same whistle 😂 She can obviously whistle randomly but the ones during performances are set up because she cannot afford doing it on the spot every.time. with the same quality . She is no Mariah Carey ..

JaeHyun she has always had whistle register, she just wasn’t comfortable using it. she’s probably a lot more comfortable now, she’s probably gotten better training. there are only two videos of her doing the whistles of giaw on youtube. i dont go to every single concert or some shit lmao. still inconclusive though. you obviously haven’t seen every performance, as what’s online, is only two(not counting what people upload on their sc or instagram stories that the public doesn’t have all access to. edit: there is 3 that i found, not two, but it didn’t sound the same, and the second whistle seemed to cut off earlier than the others.

@sourabh tanti Why wouldn't she do a whistle run live? The last time she did was in 2013. And why would she pre record herself doing whistle runs (Eb6-Bb6) in the first place when she could just pre record herself doing the Eb6 in falsetto like in the studio version? It makes no sense.
