Frank, that was a great question. It's not that humans come from monkeys, it's that monkeys, chimpanzees, gorillas and humans all come from a common ancestor. We're all still living but our last common ancestor is extinct. Monkeys are our relatives and that's why we are so similar. Humans are great apes. Humans are primates. We are animals who are very intelligent but nevertheless humans do indeed belong to the animal kingdom. People of all races, all colors, all religions, are all the same animal species called Homo Sapiens and it's currently estimated that our species first appeared in Africa about 300,000 years ago. What makes it extra confusing is some religions don't accept a scientific approach to answering questions related to the origin of human life, so there's a lot of tip toeing around when it comes to this subject. Anyhow you guys are the best. Peace ✌️

I JUST SAID HI TO G0Y TOY!! (BLOOP!) 🤣🤣🤣 😂😂😂😂 I miss those days

Good special. Also Frank, we're not descended from any modern apes, we share a common ancestor that is extinct. Over 99% of species that have ever existed have gone extinct. In a way, it's a miracle and a rarity that any of us (the world's living species) are still alive.
@samhoare1334 Жыл бұрын
Think of it more like two sets of monkeys on separate islands, one island has trees and fruit so those monkeys are safe in the trees, well fed and don't need to change much. The other island has long grass hiding lions and the best food source is hunt, those monkeys will have to either adapt to that environment or get wiped out. We had 10 million years of surviving an environment monkeys aren't suited for so the pressure to adapt or die led to us being really different in a lot of ways but the same in a lot of others.

27:10 - So if you came from your parents, how could your parents still be around? :> 28:55 - A poppulation of a species can evolve at a seperate rate and direction from another poppulation of that same species. It depends on where they live and the environmental pressure their surroundings impose. If you have a poppulation of dogs that live in an area that is much colder than otherwise, dogs that are born with a bit thicker fur might have higher chance to survive and prolifirate. If the pray is faster, then dogs born with longer legs that can run a bit faster might have higher chance to survive and prolifirate. If the pray is larger than otherwise, ...etc. In that way, over hundreds of thousands of years, the dogs in that region may grow bigger, faster and with thicker fur, up until the point where they have speciated into something different than what their ancestors 1000 miles south of the mountain ranges are.

Evolution is a provable fact. The so called "missing link" is a misnomer. Scientists have found several stages of man since the concept of a "missing link." The man with the funky hair is right. Time is a very different thing when it comes to evolution than it is when it comes to human life spans. Thanks to both of them for sharing all the laughter with love from Michael the Ape Man.
@guylaub8505 Жыл бұрын
Love your channel and I appreciate you doing this special at these times. Just wanted to answer your questions as an atheist Jew. The "cap" that religious Jews wear on their head is called a Yamaka (or Kippah). The reason for wearing it is for honoring god, and they have to wear it if they move more than 4 ft (or something like that) from their house. You can also wear a hat or any head cover. They keep the Kippah in place with clippers holding it pinned to the hair. You can do sports with it you just need few clippers so it won't fall down. Most jews aren't religious and don't wear any head gear. Around 10%-15% of Jews around the world are religious and wear a Kippah.

We didn't come from monkeys my dudes, we came from a shared ape-ancestors. Regarding "missing links": it may be helpful to realize that "species" and "races" are subjective _labels_ that we put on things. A monkey isn't a "monkey", we just call specific lifeforms that because it's useful. They are just the current version of beings in a shared genetic pool. Every born monkey and human is unique. Every child that eventually reproduces him/herself IS the link.
@VideoNozoki Жыл бұрын
24:00 The cap is worn on the head to always be reminded that God is above watching you. "Cover your head in order that the fear of Heaven be upon you." The name of the cap is a "kippah" (pronounced "key - pa") or "yamulke" (pronounced "ya ma kah")(from a Polish word meaning 'head-cover'). Usually it is just worn on the head and doesn't fall off. But many people will wear a small one and use a bobby-pin/hairpin at the top to secure it to your hair so it doesn't fall off (like when playing basketball).

@@kingxiii4680 bro it's ari shaffir he does not care about getting "canceled"
Such a great special!!!!! So happy for Ari!!
Peace ✌️
28:00 Dogs come from wolves, wolves are still around.
Love to see cancel culture help Ari's career for once. He deserves this
You guys always cheer me up ! Thanks
Back in the early 2000s in MSN chat my screen name was G0Y TOY... every time someone said my name they got booted out of the chatroom by the bots that detected foul language... Me: " Hey everybody! How y'all doing??!" Them: "Hey G0Y TOY! WELCOME G0Y TOY!! WHAT'S UP G0Y TOY?! (BLOOP! BLOOP! BLOOP!!) They would come back in the chat madder than a mmfffka "I DIDN'T EVEN DO NOTHING!!
Can't believe it took me this long to watch Ari's standup. This is phenomenal!
First special I have enjoyed this much in a long time. Ari killing
27:30 rondo talking bout "if you have two monkeys right" had me laughingggg Frank: ".. the monkey's having sex with the fish??"
Frank, you need to use this thing called "youtube' to look at some of these questions you have .
The idea is that we didn't evolve from modern day apes but we share a similar ancestor at some point. So apes have evolved as much as we have when compared to the ancestor.
I just saw him live in Portland and he killed it, he’s such a hilarious dude
Yes!!!!! I knew you guys would review this and I'm so happy you did. Much respect from Reno brothers.
I knew you guys would react to this so I didn't watch the special myself yet, get to watch it first time now!

I second this motion.
Louis C.K. once made an interesting point about the word "Jew". He said it is the *only* word we have to describe a people that is both the correct thing to call them and an ethnic slur; it just depends on if you put a little stank on it.
ari is a funny guy

Somehow I’ve been waiting for your upload to watch with you lol
Frank's point at the end was the same way I'm thinking like if we came from apes why are there still apes? It don't make bo sense to me haha best reaction channel out there boys!
Y’all gotta watch the rest of this special it’s so funny
Just watched this the other day...Ari knocked it out of the park with this one.
"Definitely Dikembeee" 😂😂😂😂
These guys gotta check out Dave Attell's Skanks for the Memories album.
Part 2 was great..now here for part 1 bk ward life 🙌
Thanks 😁
This special was great. Ari's such a funny Jewish pershon
Good one bros enjoyed it
These guys are great. They seem to appreciate all kinds of humor.
I loved this special, everyone should go give it a view count and a like!
Awesome!
👀👀👀 I was not prepared for that evolution discussion at the end😆🤣🤣
I can't recall his name--he played for the Phoenix Suns in the probably mid-1990s then with the Knicks in the early 2000. I remember reading article after he arrived in NY about his (half) Jewishness.
ari my 2nd fav jew after jesus.
