Package sounds great for some people. But we don’t need help with taxis, with basic-intermediate Spanish, with translations / apostilles, or school enrollments. We need help preparing the applications, period, maybe someone to attend a government office appointment, maybe not.

Mercosur forever! However, how do we determine whether Argentina or Paraguay is better for us? I like that Spanish classes are included in the relocatee package.

Do you value low taxes, peace of mind, and laid-backness? If yes, I'd recommend Paraguay. If you value diversity, more options and don't mind paying more taxes, Argentina is better.

Chile has visa-free access to the USA. Other than that, what countries can they visit, that Argentina passport-holders cannot visit - that we’d actually want to visit? We have zero interest in the “uk” or canada or australia / NZ anymore.

You won't get residency in Paraguay. Argentina sounds a lot more realistic, but it depends on the severity of the crime and when it happened. Please book a consultation with us to get expert advise on your unique situation.

Australia doesn't require fingerprints for a federal criminal record check to use for emigrating from there. Can one immigrate to Argentina (or any other South American country) without having to submit fingerprints? I have an absolutely "clean" criminal record, but have a principled objection to surrendering my identity in that manner.

I think all Mercosur countries have this same NCM (Norma Comun del Mercosur). Brazil has always been like that as well...but then even USA is, as far as IACRA is concerned (especially after 9-11). Not sure if Uruguay enforces this though...🤔
