Something special about Arethas high belts...

Her voice during this era was her absolute peak.

The days of lps 45s and 8tracks. I wore these records out. Aretha looked and sounded amazing. Ken Cunningham sure knew how he wanted his SoulLady to be. Missing you Aretha.

I love Aretha Franklin. Fans always talk about the 1967-1969. But lets talk about 1970-1979 her vocals were on fire she was in her prime during this era. Her timing her breathing control, her delivery, her timbre, her high belts her low register she had everything sadly by 1982 her voice changed very smokey and raspy with her cigarette intake. But glad from 1993-2000 she had her second prime with no smoking. 70s and 90s Aretha was on fire

SOOO TRUE...I have heard like 3 versions of her singing ' Chain of Fools ' and Any one of them would have been a Hit!!!

This woman makes me smile every time I hear her voice. Absolute magic. Her mic is always on. The Legend.The Queen. SIP

Aretha Franklin could NEVER garner too much praise as far as I’m concerned. May she RIP and continue to be appreciated for the joy and comfort that her music brings to the people.

I've wanted to see this for decades! Man, oh man, she was fine and sangin'. There's no one above her in my eyes, and she earned her title as the Queen. And to hear Without Love live was so amazing!

Queen Aretha hits notes that made the Queen of England's crown tilt....is there any wonder Queen Elizabeth summoned her royal band to play RESPECT when Aretha transitioned....on another note....did y'all see how that soulless audience was just sitting there, with no expression....I would have been all over the place!!😂❤

Is it just me or does it seem like Aretha isn't really gone? I guess for me it's because as a small child through present day (in my 40's) I've listened to all of her music, the concerts, and watched video footage of her a million times over every year non stop, she's still with me in spirit. But I often forget that she died in 2018.

I know that feeling all too well. I first remember hearing Aretha in elementary school, by high school, I was a fan. By the time I reached college I was a big fan. By the 2000’s I was a huge fan of the Queen. It’s still difficult to believe that the greatest singer of my life time is actually gone. It’s May 2024 and it’s still hard to believe it.
