Wanna know why I love youtube? Because you are in it. Excellent teaching videos. ❤
Leah, I've been using tools since I was 10 years old. Decades later, I'm hooked on your videos and I'm still learning. Thank you!
I love how precise and detailed you explain things and you go at a pace that is very easy to follow, but not too time consuming. Keep up the good work!
Leah, you're a mind reader. I just purchased, yesterday, a combo set of Bosch blades for my jigsaw. You covered all of the bases in this video and I applaud you. Keep up the great videos.
I appreciate your videos Leah! I'm a fellow lady projector and have learned so much from you, it's so refreshing to learn from another skilled and talented woman. Thank you!
I love your videos because they explain things so well and makes me feel not intimidated by the project nor the equipment. Thank you so much for all that you do!

Thank you for your videos. It’s always a joy to find a video of you teaching what I’m looking to learn. It’s truly a gift that in a way you’re helping build my home. Hope you’re well and finding peace!
Good job Leah, love learning different skills from you. So clear and easy to understand. Thank you!
Wish there was some outstanding citizen award we could give you! Being a single father of two im Superman and Albert Einstein put together in there eyes and honestly couldn't hold up to the standards owed to that title. Being a father these days is hard enough having both of your children abandoned by there mother's even worse but my father wasn't around my older sister taught me how to shave. While most call there father or a grandparent for advice on fixing that leaky sink.... I got you from the bottom of my heart thank you for what your doing! My sister use to say God gives us blessings where we least expect
I'm glad i end up seeing this video before using my newly bought jigsaw. Such a big help Lea. Thanks.
Thank you so much! I asked for a jigsaw for Christmas and just opened it and tried assembling the blade, but the instructions were quite unclear. This helped a lot!
Thanks so much Leah. It’s great that you show us that there are so many different blades. If you hadn’t changed one before you would just pick up the first one you saw. That’s why I love your page so much because you break it all down for us. Thanks so much Leah. Be careful and stay warm!

Came to KZread to find the best way to cut a laminate countertop with the only power tool I currently own - a jigsaw. Found Leah's channel and this video was so well done I liked and subscribed during the tutorial! Great job, Leah! Straight, to-the-point, and short but descriptive video. Keep up the great work! ❤🪚🪵🔨🧰🔥🔥🔥😎👍
Thanks Leah. Excellent video. Just bought my first jigsaw!! And you have helped me with explaining which blade to use.😍
Thanks for making these videos, this one on choosing the right saw blade saved me!
You are a wee star! Thank for this and love from Edinburgh, Scotland 🏴
Thanks Leah. I didn't know about the laminate blade. I also didn't know about the handy lever on newer jigsaws for installing the blade. Very helpful video! You are a gifted teacher.

One thing I found on cutting laminate: Laminate blades give you a cleaner cut when cutting from the top, otherwise either cut through masking tape or cut it form the back (The teeth will then rip into the up side from below). But one thing I would recommend for cutting laminate, get a whole bunch of blades. Laminate will dull blades faster than you can say Laminate and Jigsaw three times in a row.
Clear, precise and Straightforward instructions from a v likeable professional. You'd have make a great Diplomat ... Love this channel
Thanks Leah. I've been looking in the drawer of old blades my son left in the workshop and taking a guess. Got it sorted now. I appreciate the way you explain everything so us newbies don't miss out. - from another of your followers in New Zealand.

My dad gave me his old Jigsaw and I never understood the blades. ,Leah! Now I do! Thank You
First time I listened to you was on how to operate an air compressor. Always the best. Thanks!
Miss Leah this was a great primer on blades and a great review for us old timers, thanks
Thanks for the memory. My first jig saw used two allen screws to hold the blade. Always a bear to change the blade. The newer ones are a great improvement!
Great video. I love your approach, and it was exactly what I needed to figure out the right blade for a project I am working on. Thanks!
Thanks! Really helped me make sure I had the right blade for cutting cable holes on my laminate desk :)
You answered my question about cutting laminate shelves with a jig saw and the proper blade. Thank you!
Thanks so much..just realised I'm using a metal blade for wood lol...now the job is almost done..you've been a great help x
Thank you, Leah! Now I'm going to go out to the garage and look at my jigsaw! I did find a blade for my jigsaw that cut plexiglass for an indoor tradeshow display! Awesome video Leah!

Hey, Naudi K, nice to hear from you!
I've been using my jigsaw wrong. Lol. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of blades. Thanks Leah!
I have the same jigsaw since 1995, and I have never put much attention to the blade I was using, as long as I felt the cut going smooth. I only used it occasionally to fix something at home, but have recently started to take on woodworking as a hobby, and realized I have to pay attention to those things. Thanks for a very simple and complete explanation!

Thanx fir clarifying, I got a new set of blades yesterday and I don’t recall in the past ever seeing a reverse blade so I’m still not sure what it’s intended for because I’m not using it on laminate just regular carpentry.

My bright green 580W Kawasaki jigsaw is 5-6 years old and uses an Allen key in two locking screws, front and side. As with many people it's not my favourite tool but it works fine.......Fav things to use are Forstner drills and square head screws for Everything...crosshead/Phillips screws if I must...
Amazing video many thanks
