The Simpsons example is such a stretch the one from the game is a perfectly worded question. The one from the Simpsons is a perfectly worded joke made to make the question impossible to answer

The game serves as a true sign if you're smarter than a 5th grader...if you're smarter then you never buy it bc you know it's a waste of time....if you're not smarter then you buy the game and continually try and try and try and never can beat it
Was it 90’s? I thought it was popular in the early 2000’s?
Watched play of it, it does pretty well Does it allow a classmate to save a player at the first incorrect response like the show, or….?
