To be fair, I used to drive a 24' box truck when I delivered furniture (treAaaash!). I had both types of mirrors, but almost exclusively used ONLY the wide angle mirror, as I could see WAY more with that.

Can't speak on the "3 month use by" on the fresh eggs, but I believe they do have a coating of some sort that protects them. It's why they don't have to refrigerate eggs in Europe - they don't wash the eggs. In the US, commercial eggs are washed before going for sale; it destroys the protective layer on them which makes them require refrigeration.

I used to drive taxi cab when I was in college, actually after I stopped going to college unannounced. I would sit in the middle of the small town waiting for a call and just smoke blunts in a Lincoln Continental. I dropped a freshly lit fat one down between the velour seats and it was smoking and burning the carpet. I ran over to the pizza shop and asked for some water because the car is on fire. They gave me a cup of water then went out to deal with it. Next thing I know one of the employees came running up behind me with a full mop bucket and she doused it into the car!

I've used my finger before in a pinch. Caution: it can still cause arguments with your significant other

It's true about the eggs lasting longer when directly from the chicken and not pre-washed and pasteurized. Sure they look gross but you can wipe them clean right before using and you don't have to refrigerate unless you want to. If still in doubt about freshness simply put the number of eggs you want to use in a bowl of water; if they float they're bad. I've been doing this for years from friends' and family's home grown eggs. Nothing beats the taste of those organic ones with orange yolks from happy healthy hens!

I’ve started agreeing with Foley so much more lately. I can’t tell if he’s figuring out all his shit, or if I’m just becoming more garbage.

I grew up with one of them aluminum swing sets. We moved it with us from one house to another when the top ladder rung was already bent almost in half from my sister’s apparent vaj of steel when she slipped from the neighbor kids hosing her down. Came to find out my single mom was incorrect in assuming reburying the concrete balls from the previous yard would still pass OSHA codes. That thing went over soon after and spent the remainder of it’s life as the world’s most dangerous soccer goal.

I too get skeeezed out using someone else toothbrush. And I too also hate finding it pre wet… the truck I’ve found when I’m in a pinch is to let that brush sit under the hot water for a good 30 seconds to “kill all the germs” if that doesn’t actually do anything it does something for the mental at least lol.

Paddys right. We have chickens and the eggs come out with a natural coating that'll make them last for months. Store bought eggs are a toss up depending on how they were cleaned and sanitized prior to going on the shelf.
