Hi Matt, if you had to do this sort of work in something different to the XJ what would you choose?

@@MattsOffRoadRecovery the XJ is like the worst option for all of this. He has been infected with that Heap problem. A 4wd 4.0 Ranger will kick that fuck out this Pile for half the price. My AWD 03 Passat will go through about 90% of what the Stupid Jeep has. Driver skill is KEY

@@zuestoots5176 Show us with videos. I doubt a Passat has the ground clearance for most of the work Matt does and lacks the towing capacity to pull a trailer with an atv on it as Matt has done in several videos.

Credit to the camera man, running at times while still keeping the action in frame, some cant do it standing still.

Your wife did a great job and so did her spotter.

Casually offroading a loaded trailer is a pretty cool move. His wife accidentally offroading the grocery getter on the same track still takes it.

35 inch tires $3,500.00. 2 inch lift kit $3,000.00. The look on Matt's face when he realizes. His wife is following him with none of those things. PRICELESS Lol God bless

Those tires aren’t really that expensive. About $250 a piece is what the interwebs says. He uses Patagonia M/T.

He’s commented a couple times in reference to his wife’s rig, “a stock XJ isn’t really that capable, but one with a 3” lift and 31”s will go just about anywhere”.

Jamie rock crawling like an absolute boss in a stock jeep without lockers was the highlight of the show.

That jeep is far from stock. Great driving skills!

One of the hardest working camera crews in the business. Running that terrain is no joke, and the stabilization on the camera amazing too.

I believe he has some kind of stabilization mount. There's plenty of choices out there and they make it so you can run around without it shaking too much.

Dennis Germain it is a GoPro hero 8 It has built in hyper smooth stabilization which does all the work

I never would have believed you survived the drive back. Jamie I loved how you are a rock crawling soccer mom.

Who would have thought the drive out would have been more entertaining than the rescue itself. The dogs are brilliant, darting in and out but always sensing how to stay out of the way - the most car-smart dogs around. Great pathfinders, they seem thrilled when they are first to find the disabled vehicle.

Randy - "Theres no tracks." Matt - "Sure there is." Drone shot - "Nope."

Man your wife was killing it in that stock Jeep, no hesitations and knew how To listen to her spotters. Your boys did a great job guiding her. You and your family make me proud !!

The closing images with the setting sun shining on those red rocks? Dreamlike! But isn’t it getting even worse with the blue of sky and lake contrasting the landscape? Awe inspiring!

Watch the one about the un recoverable Silverado. Its an old video but is his best. I think it was called, "they said it couldn't be done " there was a Silverado stuck on the top of a mountain at a 36° angle above a 2000 foot cliff

Very impressive, not only with you and the trailer, her driving and his spotting was awesome to see.

Mad respect to Jaimie driving that stock XJ out of the wilderness. They’d did a great job spotting her through it too!

If Ed has been along this would have been a full bag of M&Ms episode.

This is too funny only because I can feel your frustration. Mine destroys her rims and alignment on every curb she see's. It's almost like she does it on purpose.

Great job boys helping your mom through that - and great job to mom for wheeling that jeep!

Firstly it was fun to see you drive to, and find the broken vehicle, but double the fun to see how you negotiated the obstacles to get out of the park. Great shooting guys. Thoroughly enjoyable.

She's a keeper with the driving skills like that! Great job! You guys have so much fun while working.

You should go back to that trail and signal it "Jamie's trail" 😂

That's some slick filming Randy! I'm impressed you didn't trip and fall.

Just started watching Matt and gang. Damn if this isn’t one of the better ones I’ve watched so far. I love the whole family getting out for a ride and some great family conversation, “Get in, I don’t know why Dad is taking me this way.” “I need you to be better than this.” And the rolling gag line, “We should have followed Casey.” Loved the footage at the end, Matt jawing with the customer and the kids hanging around learning how to chew the fat after a job is done. Great stuff.

The very epitome of living on the edge. Well done both of you! Jamie, you know that following every successful man there’s a mighty brave woman wondering why they followed him.

Jamie handled it like a pro... calm, and a "lets get her done" attitude.

Max and Lady always having the best time! You guys give them the best life!

I have to say I'm impressed with the whole family. The children will inherent driving skills from both parents. Definitely 👍 for this video.

Guys, That was incredible, well done. The cameraman did a great job too. Jamie's off road skills are damn good. Wow, this episode totally captured my attention.

I want a t-shirt that reads..”So, we got a call..” Dude, you were crawling with a trailer. 👌🏼

4:10 for people who don't know anything about towing, he puts the winch on specifically like that so if like something happened and that hook comes loose or whatever while under tension, because the hook is facing up it will send the hook into the ground and not into the air possibly hurting someone. just a little tip/lesson.

Probably my favorite episode so far, and I've seen nearly all of em. Seeing your family out on those technical trails with(out) you was super cool!!

This episode proves it; we need more videos of Jamie driving that bone stock Cherokee without lockers, just to show up her husband and to get timeless quotes from her. Loved this episode! And the cinematography and evening lighting was spectacular!

“Which axle is broken?” “Yes.” Gnarly recovery guys but you always keep it cool and make it look easy.👍🏻

The one where he was backing up the trailer on the cliffs in the dark was the most impressive rescue, I think but this is close

I love all Matt's vids but THIS WAS MY FAVORITE so far, very impressive. Those XJ's are so underrated.

Jaymie did a fantastic job. Beautiful woman and she can drive off-road. I assume she does the paperwork for the business so she is smart too. Matt you better take that lady out for a nice dinner or something. The "Boss" deserves some recognition!

We are lost send up the drone!! You have the best dog in Lady she has the best GPS to get to the vehicle and she finds water in the desert every time. Lady's GPS is better than google.
