Just say its better than NYC. No crime, homelessness, and dirty subways. They actually enforce their laws. Speaking from an actual New Yorker (born & raised).
I am malaysian, i live in kl almost 20years, but until now i still amazed by the twin tower. I was like kids when i see it during night. Its stunning! The building is considered old since its build in the 90s but the building still look very modern n stunning!
KL is very modern and beautiful.. many more beautiful cities in Malaysia such as JB, Georgetown,, Kuching, Putrajaya, Melaka, KK, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam...
I’ve been vlogging here for a few days and I also thought maybe this could be a cool spot to live. I am finding it super affordable, and the people are very friendly 😁

Malaysian shopping malls are unique as compared to other countries, as Malaysia is multicultural country, the malls will have different decorations celebrating different cekebrations such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Christmas and the such.

@@EGO0808 Singapore yes, but not Jakarta and Manila. Jakarta only celebrate Lebaran and Christmas, and only recently Imlek (Chinese New Year) but not Deepavali/Diwali for Hinduism..and for Manila they only celebrate and decorate their malls for Christian festivals. You must never been to all those cities you mentioned.
@EGO0808

@@nikhassan7713 I am not referring to the religious celebrations, but to the fact that all countries mentioned have malls that are being decorated for their respective religious festivities. Are you that simplistic or are you just making a simplistic comment?
@nikhassan7713
10 ай бұрын
@@EGO0808 I don't think you understand what the first guy trying to say. He said in Malaysia is quite different than the other countries due to multicultural society with reflected on mall decorations and celebrations, not just 'mall decorations' itself. Of course any other countries in the world decorate their malls during festive seasons according to their community members they have, but they don't decorate for each festivals which not represent their large community members, do they? Even the UK where I used to live for 15 years also do decorate certain places with Diwali and Eid but not the whole country celebrate it. I don't know the country you origin from maybe 'do not' decorate' their malls at all except for Christmas, Easter, Valentine etc. Hope you understand the point matey

Kuala Lumpur (size wise - 243 km sq) is bigger than Manila (42.34 km sq) and other cities in other parts of Southeast Asia but smaller than New York (783 km sq) and Tokyo (2194 km sq). But size is not the issue here. Its the level of development and organization that makes Kuala Lumpur more like New York and Tokyo, than other cities in Southeast Asia.

But in 2022 Kuala Lumpur has overtaken New York in top 10 most visited city in the world. A lot of differences btwn NY and KL. ie. 1. "one thousand million smile" (song) vs no smile 2. Greeting everywhere vs no greet 3. Lay back vs rushing 4. Yellow taxy vs all coloured grab😂 5. Curved and flyovered road vs streets & Avenues 6. TSA tight security vs relax avsec so many and many differentces. lol.. Btw, love NYC love KL
