Hatred is usually a sign of low intelligence. But you can have some real anger at Israel for helping keep Hamas in power all these years as Netanyahu admitted was his strategy in an effort to prevent a 2-state-solution… Google it. And now they kill Palestinian civilians after the Hamas terrorists do what terrorists do. Israel should have never been propping up Hamas all these years, which results in both Israeli and Palestinian civilian deaths…and always way more Palestinian civilian deaths.

Not everyone is being antisemitic and not every comment against Israel should be considered antisemitism. Just because I disagreed with actions, Israel has taken and called them out on it doesn’t make me anti-somatic. I’m a black man and I’ve disagreed with some actions BLM has taken does that make me racist? No because guess what I’ve also agreed with some actions BLM has taken. Just because myself and many others are willing to point it is real and say hey, that’s wrong doesn’t mean we’re antisemitic just because we pointed to action out there and say that’s just as bad as what the terrorist did does it mean someone is antisemitic. It means you’re pointing out the truth. It’s a difficult truth to point out. Mind you, but it is the truth. Israel should be defending themselves. They have the right to respond but when you respond and you kill this many people in your response, you can’t blame a human being for looking at that and saying wow I think that’s too much. Now I called out the people who didn’t look at the terrorists at some sort of freedom fighters know they’re not freedom fighters they are terrorist. Bad bad terrorist. Guess what that doesn’t mean the nation that they struck the nation that respond to the terrorist attack. Can’t be bad as well.

You really wrote a lot to simply ignore what is being commented. Anyways, the label antisemitism is criticism. You know, like how you want to criticize Israel? Well, you're being criticized. For citing really bad sources. For buying into hate tropes. For using words you don't understand. But mostly bc nothing Israel ever says or does will ever be okay with you. So that makes you antisemitic. Don't like it? Change your attitude. Instead you whine over the message of the video, demanding that your perspective trumps all forms of criticism. What a clown.

Two things can be true at the same time. Antisemitism IS definitely on the rise not just in the US but across the world. And that should horrify all of us. Also, it is fair to criticize Israel for how they have handled the Palestinian issue before the terrorist attack and have since escalated the situation afterwards. And not be called an antisemite when you do so.....✌🏾✌🏾

The difference in the rhetoric is due to the Palestinians being so severely hurt and traumatized by the Jewish state. Not many human beings can say, "I love you" to people who are stealing from them and killing them and trying to terrorize and torture them into leaving their own homes and land. You should look up Amnesty International's February 2022 report on the situation in Gaza, which tells part of the truth about what is really happening in Gaza and why many pro-Palestinian people do not like Jewish people. Its the abusive and hateful and thieving behaviors of masses of Jewish people that are hated in this situation, not the race or the religion.

Nothing more, nothing less. You’re acting like the people that respond with “all lives matter” to the statement “black lives matter”. No one said that all lives don’t matter, those people just assume that that’s the intent of the statement. Edit: Sorry about then previous corrected bad grammar…. David: "We lived with everyone else on the face of the Earth and because we worship God a different way, none of them would accept us. I can't imagine how so worse this could have become without a state of Israel. At least we're not now being massacred somewhere in Ukraine, Russia or Germany in 19th-century Europe." It is important to remember that the United States is a diverse country with many different points of view, some in conflict. But the ideal here is to live together in harmony. Call out ALL bigotry without any bias, it’s ALL bad. Another thing is to give no one group bias over another. I don’t think that all people at pro Palestinian rallies or at pro Israeli rallies are trying to justify killing each other but rather looking for dignity and respect. We saw in WW2 how bias against a perceived enemy led to American citizens interred in concentration camps in America! Never Again is a good slogan for all.

Governments are sets of individuals. Learn to think reductionistically: the ONLY thing an outside alien species or a massive supercomputer AI would PHYSICALLY see is PHYSICAL INDIVIDUALS, EACH with their own intentions, beliefs. So, there just exist some SET OF INDIVIDUALS who CHOOSE to do the bad things you say the Israel "government" does, but which THEY obviously believe are good and justified. This issue has been confusing to follow, and my heart has pulled me in 2 directions over the last few weeks. But as Palestinian support has been given more coverage, I've gained more clarity. The rhetoric on Palestinian side is consistently alarming and violent and vengeful. The rhetoric I've heard from American Jews is - we want peace for all. That is NOT what I hear from the American Palestinian support. And that, for me, has really helped to crystallize my opinion. It does not seem, to me, that Palestinian supporters are looking for peace. They're looking for vengeance, based on what I largely hear from them (of course, there are always exceptions). It's increasingly clear, to me, that there are 2 arguments being made. American Jews, and their supporters, sound forward-looking, support two-state solutions, want there to be peace, etc. This AFTER October 7th. American Palestinian support sounds very backward-looking. Disputes over land that are nearly a century old, anger over an "open-air prison" for which it seems Egypt is not held accountable at all; only Israel - while Israel seems to have a very legitimate argument for being hesitant to welcoming Palestinian immigrants (OCTOBER 7TH!) while I struggle to see Egypt's refusal to accept Palestinian immigrants - in fact, I haven't even heard an argument in support of their refusal.. and lastly, the American Palestinian support is backward-looking in that we continue to hear that we have to understand the anger, resentment, etc. For me, the issue has become clear. Of course I'm supportive of the argument that's forward-looking, hopeful, condemns violence on both sides, looks to rid the region of a terrorist group (Hamas), and looking for peace. Based on all I've heard, American Jews and their supporters are the ONLY side calling for these things. If I'm going to "condemn" anyone, I choose to condemn Hamas, and Egypt for refusing to open their border to innocent Palestinians looking to escape the war.

If I remember correctly, neighbouring countries have accepted many Palestinian refugees in the past and it ended in the creation of insurgent movements who destabilized the countries. Since then they appear to have been a lot more reticent to bring in the refugees. I guess that this would be why Egypt prefers not taking them in.

Being critical of Netanyahu isn't anti-Semitic. The majority of Israelis don't agree with his administration; so it can hardly be anti-Semitic to want Israel to pursue a different course. There is no "wave of antisemitism" although it is awful that we still have a handful of people in this country like the guy who spray painted the hateful words. Israel is leveraging all of its influence to label criticism of its actions as "anti-Semitic". I understand that CNN may have to tow the line here for business reasons but the viewing public should call them out. When US students protested the war in Vietnam they were labeled "anti-American" but they just wanted the pointless violence to stop. This is the same.

I am surprised by those who claim to hate the terrorist Hamas movement, but do not hate those who founded it and those who supported it, and do not ask how it was founded, nor do they wonder about the coincidence by which Hamas carried out its terrorist act on October 7? They do not hate Hamas, but rather they are happy with the existence of Hamas because it justifies everything Israel does. Notice their voices and faces, how happy they are with Hamas, and notice the number of times they stoke it. Hamas: (Hamas) (Hamas) (Hamas) is like a magic spell.

Supporting a right of the suppressed Palestinian people to have a free state of their own is not antisemitic. The vast majoritity of marchers are chanting about a free Palestine, not saying "death to Israel" or "death to the Jews." Equating ALL speech condemning the fascism and oppression represented by the far right parties dominating the government of Israel with a minority that are spouting slurs is irresponsible journalism. Massacring civilians is evil, whether it is by Hamas OR by the IDF in bombing hospitals. Maybe, just maybe, the far right's sponsorship of Hamas back when Fatah was in power in the Palestinian territories has come back to bite them. But no one on CNN is delving into that topic. Maybe, just maybe, the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements in Palestinian territory over the 20-25 years of Likud ascendancy has created a hopelessness in Palestine that led to the violent actions of Hamas. Why is no one on CNN discussing the clear cause and effect that happens in times of occupation and conflict? These are not new concepts. Nor is asking these questions antisemitic.

This interview is questionable. Where is the outrage over the Israelis wanting to massacre the Palestinians? Two wrongs do NOT make a right. The double standards here are palpable. I am left of the opinion after seeing what our government is doing to assist Israel in THEIR slaughter of Palestinians that this is all about how much money Jewish people give politicians and control our economy. Is that the defining difference here that makes Israeli lives more valuable than the innocent Palestinians they are wanting to slaughter in retaliation? After watching Queen Rania's interview w/Christiane Amanpour, I am beginning to see this in a different perspective. Apparently, Israel has been doing bad things to the Palestinians for DECADES and they're fed up. I do not condone violence as the answer, and certainly do not condone the massacre on Israel's people earlier this month. It seems these two countries need to come to the table and hash out your differences and solve it there. This tit-for-tat BS is only going to fuel hate. I am sickened by the US government officials getting on TV railing 'we've got your back' or 'Israel is our strongest ally'. So is MONEY then the determining factor how much our government drains from the Jewish people what drives all this? Our government should NOT be funding any retaliation against Palestinian people because then we are just as complicit in this vindictive mindset that drives hate around the world.
