The new wandering trader trades in the experimental thingie are so good! Since you can actually sell things to them you can also buy things without having to trade with villagers to get emeralds

It feels like its been an eternity since they first announced 1.21.

Villagers having mending that can reasonably be accessed and renewable diamond gear is the only reason I started playing the game again (during village and pillage update specifically, upon discovering how easy is it to get mending which is essentially a required enchantment with the current system) after leaving it for a long time out of frustration over the lack of renewability of many high end items. I'm definitely not alone in that either. in fact, if you check the feedback site the majority of players are upset over the villager nerfs.

Most players agree that the nerf is needed, specially for Mending. If Mojang gives us a practical way to guide or move villagers (the biggest pain point) the changes would be approved by the playerbase.

@@munyxxi they gotta add a party system.,. you can recruit villagers to follow you, maybe using hero of the village or an item gained from raids? And you just tell them to follow you XD. that would be awesome. Maybe a villager banner that lets you lead a party, and you can place it and they will stay near it like a temporary village. IDK

It's not required to get mending, you guys just feel pressured to get the "best gear" or something just because it's possible.

on both bedrock and java it's a toggle. On Java, one of the world creation tabs has an option for experiments, and you can just turn them on in world creation (even in non-snapshot). I don't fully know how it works on bedrock, but I know it's very similar, just with a different section of the world creation screen

It can become a problem if for every update they need to take in consideration both the pre nerf version and the post nerf, you basically need to update 4 different games at that point

i had 20 or 30 villagers that vanished in one of the last updates, and if it happens again im done. took hours to transport and cure them., setting up their stations one by one. a two story building wall to wall with traders. all gone. if i have to set them all up again im just done. if ya wanna implement new stuff fine. but leave the old

I want a form of shaders on bedrock or a resourse pack that can be used that will give the looks of shaders even if it doesn't have all the leaves moving just the lighting would be amazing

@@EmperorPenguin1217 Villagers are a different way of progressing. It takes a similar amount of resources, time, risk, and effort. Even if you do get a villager to max level, their prices will constantly fluctuate. Villagers aren't guaranteed to live forever until late game, and at that point you earned it. If villager trades become biome dependent, it will take so much more time, effort, and risk just to get 1 set of trades that are still not guaranteed to last. It would cut off a branch of progression, which makes the game less varying, more samey, and consequencely lose a lot of players.

No I disagree in reality the most plain biome imo is the desert, we need an update that adds more life to it, like palm trees, coconuts, meerkat, and natural cammal spawns, villages shouldn't spawn cammals only.

I like the classic sound tracks. one of my ideas for this game is to add all the soundtracks back and have them in audio setting to turn off/on at any time therefore any player can have any of the soundtracks they like playing. Any soundtracks you have turned on will always stay turned on, and the ones you have turned off will stay that way until YOU change that. Any new soundtracks that get added will automatically be on and if you turn them off they'll stay that way; they should be a toggle in this new setting that Mojang thinks that should be the ones playing and it will turn on all the soundtracks that they think should be playing and turn off all the ones that they think shouldn't for that/this time period of MINCERAFT

Agreed, I think your idea would work really nicely. I like some of the new soundtracks (namely, the Nether Update tracks) but I feel like most of the following ones are pretty detached from the world of Minecraft and feel forced (especially the tracks that Kumi Tanioka made for Caves and Cliffs, even though otherwise she is a great musician). Hopefully they add some sort of music/soundtrack toggle soon.

Don't think anyone would disagree that more in-game options would just be better, would love to see more options for lighting/shaders/textures/mods without having to download them each time and wait for compatibility updates.

Do you think you could make a map showing the pins of everywhere you have visited in your life? I think that would be incredibly interesting to see how that would look and I think a lot of people would also enjoy that as well.

Works for me, I was thinking maybe have rare powerful items like nether stars be able to be sold to villagers for a hefty amount of emeralds. As far as new foods go I don’t think any are necessary since there’s already a ton of foods that are pretty much unused Maybe dragons breath depending on the price

Idk about any one else but villager nerf is something I'm looking forward to. Something to give exploration value. On the other hand between mending being a fishing treasure and fletchers/armorers, I'll still have mending on max enchanted diamond armor and tools and usually extra mending book in a barrel well before I even explore more than a few hundred blocks beyond the village let alone entering the nether.

I feel like the reason Mojang release updates on a Tuesday is because that is when Microsoft does it. More specifically they update the Windows OS on the 2nd Tuesday of every Month.

I also wish the 5 lighting versions were togglebale for all players!

Not gonna lie, I'm not too pushed on the new update. Some of the things are cool, esp tuff bricks, but I was really hoping for more building blocks as well as new trees. It seems like this is the first big update in a while that didn't give us new trees/wood.

I remember being so excited about the redstone update, like Minecraft pe felt more special back then, but now that it’s just bedrock I don’t care

I agree with them that villager trades need rebalancing. I get why they’re doing it and they *are* going to do it. I wish the feedback was actually useful for them. Everyone just complains bc they don’t want rebalancing at all. Very few have actually used it found what didn’t work for their play style and addressed that. The biggest problem I had was transporting villagers. I would *LOVE* to build a swamp and jungle village but getting 2 villagers there is such a pain. If they fixed just that I would be fine as it is. But that’s just me.

Honestly I feel like the expiramental villager trading changes are pretty alright. Mending being the best in the game, shouldn't be easily obtainable. Considering it is a treasure enchantment, and shouldn't be easily accessible through trading. People will just continue to be lazy and not go through the effort of trying to obtain mending or any other good enchantment in the game.

Reinhard luminance is my top choice.

I think stealth nerfs have already been implemented. i have dropped a lectern and broken it 600 times over the past few days and not once have I see efficiency 5. i have seen efficiency 1, 2, 3, no 4, no 5 over hours and hours of trying.

My problem with the change is that it does nothing except set an absolute limit on how fast people can get to the end of the game. Why is that a problem? Because you can just choose not to abuse villager trades on your own if you don't want to get overpowered so quick. Why baby-proof the game for people who are perfectly content with abusing the mechanics? To me it seems like a justification for Mojang to not add new late-game content as quickly, since now that it takes 3 times as long to GET to that point, players can't complain about not having the new stuff.

I feel you're quite wrong about AI, I think people are questioning if a lot of things are AI right now because of lot of things are becoming AI right now, if you weren't aware. There are some of good parts about it like cartographer buffs, wandering trader buffs and structure-specific enchanted books

My preemptive thoughts go out to Latvia
