I would agree with the Batman & Robin wave of DC Multiverse, especially since the Mr Freeze figure and all the other figures have a pretty good likeness to the movie's suits (but then again, Mr Freeze could use a better paint deco) Seth Rollins does look good as well! Really digging his outfit! However, I would put in the New Eternia Trap Jaw, since to me, he just looks amazing

We have different loves and that is what makes you collecting awesome. We all love toys and the world is big enough for all of us. I love the videos of things I don't collect because I'm always interested in them and I won't get them myself so it's the way I see and explore them.

Yes I also got Buzz Off and Crystar on my list as well. It’s great to see my 80’s toys back in my collection.

I got more than 10 new figures this year, but no across 10 lines. Most of them were GI Joe Classified, then He-Man, then WWE. But there's stuff here I wish I got.

Polluto is definitely on my list. I love the figure and love the idea that unproduced figures are getting a 2nd chance.

Not sure it works for me, I prefer genuine Dan. And I really miss his toy reviews, especially MOTU. I now have to rely on other reviewers, who I don't like as much as Dan, but at least they give constant updates on the various MOTU releases

My number top 1 toy of 2023 is Origins Snake Mountain. For so many reasons, like how I was able to obtain it or when I opened the box and displayed it. I have had a blast and really makes me feel like a kid again.

I don't have the space or budget for this kind of hobby. So I live vicariously through people like you and the other Dan (Whatever Galaxy Dan) to get my action figure fix. CHEERS!

Your intro cracked me up. I didn't realize how big "top ten" lists got at the end of each year. I'll admit, I've grown to love seeing these videos at the end/start of the year. Especially in regards to toys, it gives off big show and tell vibes from school after all the kids get back from Christmas break, lol.

My personal favorites were low key this year. Legacy Bonbshell and Shrapnel hit every note for me. We finally got some cartoon accurate Insecticons. Great list, though!

Great picks Dan! 👏 One of my personal favorites from the year (not on this list) was the Black Series "Duel's End" Darth Vader 🥳

I don't even know if I can think of 10 figures hat I got this year. I'll list a few I got that I love. 1. Patriot toys Kennedy (Definitely not Leon S. Kennedy from RE4) Re4 is one of my favorite games, and the remake is so good as well. Leon figures always seem to be like $600 for some reason which is nuts. I have the neca and palisades figures, but this one is just awesome. Don't even care that it's 3rd party, it's a great figure. 2. Monsterarts Godzilla Minus One So many people had QC issues with this one but mine is perfect. I am a huge Godzilla dork (have an arm sleeve tattoo of him) and this movie was so good. Finally people who don't usually watch the japanese movies actually watched it and are excited, I love it. The figure is fun to play with and pose around, and since I don't have all the QC issues people seem to have, I love it. 3. Figma Dread Samus This figure is just awesome, and I'm not even a metroid fan. It just feels so good to pose around, and the articulation and paint look amazing. I can't remember anything else I bought that was released this year, so they must not have been that good lol. I got a few older figures that I love, but Idk if they really count.

I'm more into Masterverse than Origins, because I used to collect Motuc but I had to sell my whole collection a few years back. I know that the Snake Men are big in Origins, but I REALLY want Masterverse Snake Men. We've gotten a lot of Evil Warriors, more Horde is coming, but I need to rebuild my Snake Men. Also I think a New Eternia Battle Cat is a must.

Should the TMNT Party Wagon count? Technically its not a figure. Maybe you could've had a 2023 top 10 vehicles/playset?

The only one I have from your list is Strongheart and man the whole NECA D&D line in general is SO GOOD! I knew for sure I had to have one of them on my list, and don't even have the nostalgic connection to the original toyline lol. Ultimately picked Warduke since I got him this year and not last - and at the #3 spot - but Strongheart did almost get it instead.

I think the last one you did was back in 2019 because I vaguely remember the (was it Comic Con or Power Con?) exclusive MOTU Origins He-Man and Prince Adam, along with NECA's capture of Splinter set. but you apparently did a video on TOTY Awards in 2020 here's my list (that no one asked for, and none of which I own yet💀): 10. MOTU Origins Lady Slither 9. Loyal Subjects BST AXN Super Shredder 8. Super7 ULTIMATES! Thundercats LJN Style Mumm Ra 7. Super7 ULTIMATES! TMNT Party Wagon (my personal belief is that Party Wagon is for the Vintage Toy and Turtle Van is for the Cartoon one) 6. MAFEX Batman: Hush Riddler 5. Super7 Wave 8 Shredder 4. Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective The Mask Deluxe Edition 3. Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Box Set 2. DC Multiverse's Anti-Monitor (and fun fact: did you know he has the highest kill count of all Supervillains?) and 1. NECA Mirage TMNT Leatherhead 2 honorable mentions that I can think of are NECA's Rat King (he's my fav TMNT Villain after Shredder) and their Return To New York 4 pack since I loved reading that story and to date it remains the 'Flashpoint' of TMNT Comics, in the sense that its the 2nd most important arc (in that sense, City At War is the 'Crisis On Infinite Earths' [which btw I am reading and loving] of TMNT comics) It's a mix of reveals and releases and I've limited myself to a few companies, but hopefully once I grow as a content creator I'll do a more precise one for this year's best toys! and yea you're right! There's lots of iterations of the Turtles, but its those Mirage Comics that are the absolute best. it's kind of like how theres so many pop culture brands but Masters Of The Universe is just something else entirely. I will say, what's so clever about the 4 pack is the fact that on one hand it looks like the Turtles specifically from the Return To New York arc, and at the same time looks like the Turtles in Volume 2 and 4 of those Mirage Comics since Jim Lawson was for the most part the artist in those eras. I HAVENT GOTTEN TO THE #1 SPOT YET BUT I KNOW FS, AND SPECIFICALLY SINCE YOU SAID MONDO, THAT IT'S THEIR 2ND HE-MAN FIGURE. IF IT IS, HONESTLY I AGREE WITH YOU LIKE I LOVE THOSE MONDO FIGURES I JUST REALLY WISH THEY WERE IN THE 1/12 SCALE (I mean I had the thought in my brain with NECA's quarter scale movie turtles that have been the only better set of action figures based on the original TMNT Motion Picture [Paraphrased from Pixel Dan] until they did that 7 inch scale box set and went forward with it. when I first saw your video on that I screamed out of absolute joy)

I think that nowadays all toys are very expensive!, but when you are passionate about something like all of us who love this world of Fantasy and action figures, money is the least important thing. But I do agree with you Dan that the price of the Mondo figures are too high, they stop being toys and become very expensive pieces of jewelry.

That Battlecat looks amazing! And I like all of your picks. As I collect My Little Pony and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figs, I would say the Celestial Pony line by Basic Fun (an unproduced pony toy line) and the Playmates Toys Leonardo Ninja Kick Cycle (which I will review on my own channel soon!) are my faves from this year. Also gotta love your mention of all comments being engagement 😂😂 and of course Mr Freeze being on your list! 😂 Excited for a new year of toy reviews from you 😊

Dang. They slowly got me with some of the figures from Mondo. I've got Catwoman and Harley Quinn from BtAS, with Phantasm on pre-order. Waiting for that X-Men animated Rogue to eventually go up, and then they announced a new Scareglow and the new Nyte-Mare horse to go with him.

I definitely would like a ROM figure. Great list.

My guess is the reason these big vehicles are around $500 is because of the Hasbro haslab projects. It's started what companies can get away with and people will pay it. Great list Dan.

I do love the NECA Dungeons and Dragons line as well as their Universal Monsters. I have been buying Masterverse and love the New Eternia subset. Origins has been tough as many of the waves are not showing up at retail. I also collected the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon characters from Hasbro as I am a huge fan of the cartoon show.

New Eternia is where its at my man!

I actually sold my Mondo Battle Cat upon arrival..... I was VERY disappointed that, for a $500 toy, the articulations are VERY limited! I was looking forward to pose it like the way I did with the Voltron lions, with their legs spread wide as if they are in an attack mode. While I don't play with Mondo figures like the good old days, I still want it to pose well. Mondo, please make a version 2 with better articulations!

My number one is definitely the marvel legends spiral and I don’t even have love for character

I also have a really big place in my hearth to the New Eternia sub-line of Masterverse. Those figures are indeed, magical on how they capture the spirit of the characters while doing something new, and in most cases a little odd or bizarre. I LOVE the monstruous figures like Two-Bad, Clawful and Beast-Man. But, I have to say, I am a little disappointed with their latest releases like Man at Arms, MekaNeck and Triclops. They are just... too normal again, much like Stratos was. The more they change the design, the more I like, so having three figures that are mostly like the original vintage ones, instead of the "two-in-one" like Barbarian He-Man and Skeletor, or Beast -Man, is not that great. I hope they swing back into making the design different again.

Man that's not cool I don't want to be a whinny hater but man it really sucks I bust my butt and I'm not even caught up on masterverse and I missed out on classics cause my parents passed away I was shipped around and for yrs never had a steady home and masterverse is my time to shine but I see a mondo and it breaks my heart cause I will never have one if I was to spend 500 on one toy my daughter would not eat and my rent not paid ..my wish is to just own one before I go but as my dad says wish in one hand and crap in the other see which one gets full first...but that's to u turtle van and mondo owners enjoy guys ..

lol really hate when someone tells a company to slow down when they also campaign to add line killers to a line, talking about mondo, i mean after teela it really should be the last female made for 3 to 4 years while they focus on other male heroes like grayskull , NA he_man n the he_ros

I haven't bought it so take this for what it is. The Super 7 party wagon was the biggest disappointment of the year for me. The orange looks flat and cheap (i know the sources material) with the price tag, there should have been a second set of antenna and guns so you could swap most of the orange parts out. Too many painted non removable part instead of removable parts. The ghettoblaster should be detachable. those pizza slices should be detachable and fit in the turtles hands. That toolbox looks more boring flat than Casey Jones green golf bag Super 7 only cared to update with their second Casey Jones.

I wish people stop saying Batman and robin is bad. Some of this was the first one to see in theater. Looking back Adam west version was terrible if you wanna nitpick stupid costume design.

If you take away the killing, I think Batman and Robin actually took a lot of inspiration from the Adam West version: smiling Batman, silly Bat gadgets. Batman and Robin's bad rep might be undeserved, but the movie series ended with this one so people will focus more on it's flaws. And it's funny, because when the first Tim Burton movie came out most people had the Adam West series as a reference: omg, Batman goes dark! Forward a few years to Batman and Robin and now most people have the dark Batman movies as a reference: omg, Batman goes silly!

@@ferocious4561 I don’t see it as the last one. I view it more like James Bond franchise. Always changing Batman. The movie is solid campy. But it wasn’t a bad movie and I was saying I hate people saying “the one nobody likes” that should go to Snyder. His Batman has the cooolest look but worst delivery… no fault of Ben. I wish each hero but the flash got their own movie. Rushed. What could’ve been great…. But scored for new Gunn and batinson worlds.

@@theAmazingRaccoon I felt Batman was way out of character in Batman vs Superman. Like they really wanted to make him the Iron Man of their franchise without the humor. I can agree with the James Bond comparison, that's probably what the studio desired to have. But all four Batman movies are connected thanks to Alfred and commissioner Gordon. They're the ones that deserve figures! 😁
