It can turbo calamity with crimson dragon. Pairs rly well with centurion too, can turn any of the backrow centurion monsters into fodder for White Woods.

That Synchro monster is ridiculous

Hugin discard does trigger the white woods spell/traps. That is how it has worked in the OCG

Witch Wolf isn't once per turn and the deck gets really nasty with Red Dragon Archfiend because it converts Witch Wolfs effect into a almost unavoidable board wipe. It might be one of the few times you might have to Veiler Red Dragon Archfiend. Its really funny because this is 2024 and a card thats maybe 15 years old will have to be negated.
