    Yeah, I think the name brand electric chainsaw is a better deal. I bought a DeWalt 20V a couple of years ago. It works surprisingly well for quick trimming tasks like keeping the trail clear.

    I've got a harbor freight electric chainsaw that works pretty well. But I end up having to carry a generator. I might consider a Dewalt 20V chainsaw at some point. I've got plenty of 20v batteries.

    You need a new carburetor on that poulan,and if something pinches in cutting,its a user error

    The Poulan is pretty old. I hate to throw much money at it. But a carb kit couldn't be that expensive.
