The organization is doing something but not what it's gonna take to do any better. This team is stuck in being the same until they are able to get some cap flexibility. They also have very little trade assets or low value ones. Everyone keeps saying trade Herro but I think that the reality is that he doesn't have as much value as people think. I hope that the team does decide to trade Butler before he opts out. This is the only way to add young valuable assets in the future.

I don't think it's a killer lineup but it could be interesting

I think jimmy can move to a de facto point guard like he did in Philly. That'll preserve his aging body for the next 2 years. I'd pair him with duncan in the backcourt and have terry, tyler and jaime coming off the bench as a shock unit.

I'll keep saying this. Chicago is trying to just give away Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball (expiring contract), even offering teams an FRP to take them. The Heat should jump on this for some combination of Herro, Rozier and Duncan. Or Herro/Duncan/Rozier and sign and trade with Caleb Martin/Highsmith Obviously I'm fully aware of ALL the common knowledge things regarding Ball and LaVine. However, I say it's worth the risk and this lineup given health, which is a concern for every term, would be an improvement from last year and be capable to compete against any team, which is all you can ask/hope as a fan. We won't suck! PG: Ball, 6'6 PG, great ball distributor, long lengthy wing defender and good 3pt shooter SG: LaVine, 29 years old, 24pt a game scorer when healthly, athletic 3 level scorer SF: Jimmy PF: Bam/Jovic C:Bam/Ware Bench: Jamie, Love, Jovic, Josh Rich, Burk and whoever else

LaVine makes more money than Herro because he's been a better player than Herro and would be an upgrade for the Heat over Herro. When you're upgrading, you pay more. That's how life works LaVine averaged 24 pts for two consecutive seasons recently. The Heat haven't had a player average that much since Lebron's last season in Miami. Let that sink in..

Ainge will wants picks not players beyond salary filler. Maybe he'd take a Kuminga type talent but then he'd have to pay him next year too so probably not. Thats why picks makes the most sense because you only get so much time with players before they need to be paid.

They dont even have the assets needed to meet his market value, much less having the assets to compete with the bids/offers that will come in for Harland among 4-5 other teams minimum. I’m at the point where I say trade Jimmy for as many picks as possible and start the youth movement now.

The Heat are stuck with bad contracts for the next 2 years (at least). The Heat should go after Brad Stevens to be Riley's successor. Stevens is a younger modern thinker and always makes the best decisions for the Celtics. The Heat should offer him whatever it takes. Worst case scenario you make the Celtics pay big to keep him. Or, we can just run it back again with an 80+ year old GM that has mismanaged the team and squandered our future assets.

Why not trade hero or Robinson for miles bridges they can do a sign and trade and make the salary work. The guy is worth the risk. Trouble or not miles is a 6.7 he can defend and get you a bucket great along side bam rookie center move jimmy at the 2 spot and rosier at the point. Or just bring him of the bench for defense and give jimmy more rest time. He is better than hero or Robinson.

Markannan would be this team's Chris Bosh. Try to remember Wade is a part owner of this Team. ROZIER Jovic Duncan sign and Trade Caleb Martin and 2026 and swap 28 1st round Picks Jovic has a huge upside that Danny Ainge Realizes. 14:05

I’m frustrated with the same formula of Pat Riley. He keeps running it back while losing core players. They keep acquiring these veteran role players that fixes nothing. Can’t sign a big name to save their lives. It’s like trying to make the same cake with lesser and lesser quality ingredients. Miami has no options. No one wants our players. Except for Bam they all are overpaid and underperform and are always hurt. Our washed up star Play In Jimmy has half assed it over the passed two regular season. If the Heat can't make moves, they should ask why.
