The travis and strangelove dunks are very wearable in my opinion however the chunky dunky and Grateful Dead are something you just put on a shelf and call it art.

Exactly...and there's a big difference between $1000 steady, and $2,000 going on $5,000 I definitely understand why you'd wear if you bought for retail, and can't blame ya. The reason I feel differently Though, and, I know it's stupid.... BECAUSE these are art, I almost feel like I'd have a responsibility to keep them DS Dunk SBs are getting so big that I feel like they might be worth $50k, $100k, $200k in 50 years. I just think that for MEGA limited shoes, like the Dunk SB Paris, that there should be some left So yeah, a retail release is whatever. A shoe they made 50 of, is a little different. It brings up a big question though....are these going to be worth that much forever?? Or will it be like pogs 😂 I think the dunk is so timeless that it'll stick Around, but who knows

Oliver Jones I’m a size 9 and they are going from 1500 to 2000 in my size. I’m going to try to get them to wear but I pretty much have an L already. Never hit on SNKRS app.

I definitely understand and appreciate skate shops getting preference because this brand was built for and by them That said, these shoes are all instantly $2,000. Any skate shop that gets them, any person that buys them, it's just instant profit. It's automatic. They're worth so much that I don't see how they can be sold in skate shops without more.... release control, let's say. My local skate shop gets pairs in months after the release date, if at ALL, and never gets hype orange label stuff. I'm really glad to see these on the SNKRS app. I guess as long as Nike continues to release sbs on the app, then it's cool. It's just that these are so expensive they're literally art pieces at this point

The Grateful dead pack IMO is the best SB sneaker this year so far. Way more wearable than the strangeloves and Chunky Dunkys too

What about the travis scott sb dunks? It’s your opinion but I think when it comes to the general opinion the strangeloves, ben and jerry, and travis scott came out on top in 2020 for sure.

I agree man, I’m all about hustlin...there is a ton of shit one can hustle. But you are 💯% right! One year ago you could easily go on stock x even and get a pair of dunks you may have missed out on, not the limited stuff but a general release for maybe a hundred over retail. “That’s on the high side”. But now.....psssh! I mean I get how resellers are buying shit up, but where my confusion comes in is how the hell are people paying 1500.00 + in a fuckin pandemic. Makes zero sense, just my opinion.

This is a badass shoe. I have at least one pair coming on the way and I’m stoked. Grateful Dead have been one of my favorite bands ever and SBs are my favorite shoe... this is a match made in heaven for me personally

It’s a weird one in the sense that I wouldn’t wear them I agree with buckets but I would say from concept to creation these are a 9 at least. Plus factor In multiple pairs for each bear that’s a dope idea love it just wouldn’t wear furry shoes personally
