I took a chance and got my hands on a Horsemeat pedal for a very good price, and I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely LOVE this pedal… And it sounds amazing no matter which guitar Im playing at the time and it goes well with other overdrive pedals also. I definitely do not regret the purchase.
The best part of presentation is...first 53 seconds. Respect CC, awesome arrangement.

Hey Corey, I just ordered both pedals using the links you provided. Hope it helps you out as I'd like to help supply your channel. By the way; your demos were really informative; and your playing is literally off the chain! I'm a long time player, but I still fnd your videos to be most helpful. Keep up the excellent work.

Nice job. The Mary Cries arrived yesterday but I haven't had the chance to plug it in yet. I was never a fan of the Dyna Comp or Boss, but this is a different thing. I'll go slow getting into it. I am also curious how it will sound going into a Walrus Audio Fathom reverb which is also new for me, the big "effecty" reverbs as opposed to the little "always on splash" amp verb.
Love your rhythm playing and single note lines. How do I do this besides stealing your fingers?
I think they sound pretty good!

Still love your DGT mate.. I have to say I was pretty impressed with the comp. I love my Cali76 Compact Deluxe but it's a bit complex as a live pedal maybe.

I think the PRS Mary Cries falls into the "it makes everything sound better" type of pedal. I like my Keeley Plus but I've underestimated the tone shaping abilities of compressors for way too long....especially with the variety currently available. I'm looking at the Empress MKII, Source Audio Atlas, this PRS, Cali 76, Drybell Module 4 (new), and some others. Any recommendations?

@@HRSP725 I had a bit of detour in my decision making and first picked up a Keeley Halo.....it is one of those "special purchases" that I was trying to talk myself out of for months but is completely awesome. In the same way, I keep on coming back to the the Cries Mary. Optical compressor with the output of the fame LA-2A unit and works great as a boost that thicks the tone a bit...It really is awesome but I just wish it had a bit more control other units have like the Walrus Mira and others. I'll probably grab the PRS after overthinking it like I did before grabbing the Halo.

@@2010njdevil Thanks for the response. I got the Mary Cries today and I must say it is a great, transparent compressor. Very happy with it.
I like the even tone, sustain from the mary cry. Using it as a boost sounds good. The intro was amazing, loved the p90s.

Names are weird, but I still want them!!!!
they sound great to me. maybe because of your nice playing, but still. the compressor, sounds like a slow attack fast release at low settings? as the initial attack comes through nicely. od sounds great, voiced to cut nicely in a mix.

Wrap your head around this; Horse ( HOR se pups lack’s bottom & high tone ) Just ordered one . My opinion at this point is that the the Where is the meat ? In the Horsemeat . I will update ASAP, what do you think?
Yes, I like pedals that can be applied with taste. Enhance the tone of the guitar because that's what I want to hear.

Why did the Horsemeat cross the road?
It seems like there are a lot of haters of PRS… if you don’t like the name then don’t try it or watch this? It’s not even just some of the comments of this video, but of other videos too. So weird, I just don’t get why everyone doesn’t like the names? Who cares. Does it sound good is all I want to know. Really great demo though! I really love how you describe the tonal changes of each pedal. This was the video I was looking for about these. Thank, Corey!

@@coreycongilio would love that cause I don’t get it. They make great quality guitars for sure, idk about their amps cause I haven’t tried them, but if Paul is putting his mind and quality behind their amps and now pedals, I don’t see why they won’t be amazing!

Bunch of Harley benton pentatonic poors coming to drool and jeer is all.
Think Centaur, but in the horsemeat grinder
to say Paul (RS) hates "pedals", they've made some pretty good ones, by the look and sound of it....as for me...i think i've got enough already to keep me going for a bit yet.....and you Corey seem to have enough PRS guitars too....😅.....sounding and playing nicely....but i'm not in the market for PRS anymore.......(one is enoughh).....😀
Is the signal path Guitar -> Horsemeat -> Mary Cries or vice versa? It's more common to put a compressor first after guitar, but the screen shot appears otherwise.

Amen to that - £220 here in the UK!
Very good pedals, but not on the cheap side. Are there anything left, Poul to put his hands on, the master of temptation.
PRS designed in plenty of features within the Horsemeat pedal because they didn’t want players to be saddled with only one tone, but rather, to experience unbridled freedom of expression.

I hear tones like this from joyo pedals. Lmao. Amp, speakers matters. Guitar to a point. So many pedals put there that are durable and work. But go pay for the name for the same tones sure. Murica loves vanity
This must have gotten the green light by the same people at PRS who decided to ditch the 25" scale length McCarty. Buncha bozos.
They will soon be known as the McDonald’s pizza of the pedal world
My girlfriend calls me "horsemeat" Just sayin
Who cares what the name is? You’re missing the point. Hurry up now and go buy your pedal with the perfect name.
