Bellingham held down the left hand side for 60+mins then took over from an exceptional Mainoo and maintained the level, through extra time and buried his penalty, he is England’s most important player. Saka and Walker are a world class right hand side, Foden and Mainoo completing the square was spot on. Luke Shaw needs to hit the ground running with Bellingham on the left for 45-60, get the lead and adjust accordingly, use the subs use the squad. -- Kane -- -Bellingham Foden- Shaw Rice Mainoo Saka -Guehi Stones Walker- Pickford Kane needs to play as a target man and trust the players behind him a touch more.

They just aren’t better than he is… because Ronaldo isn’t what he was, there’s this narrative that he shouldn’t be out there. It’s absolute garbage… this version of Ronaldo is still better than the LARGE MAJORITY of the players in premier/la-liga pool of footballers… teams just can’t afford him. Only 1 real problem with England and it's the fact that none of them are even remotely at full fitness. They aren't taking risk because they don't have the energy to try and run it down all game. They would rather go slow and whatever happens happens. Whenever England had played anything fast than jogging pace the instantly threaten the other team and look like they can score. When Cole came on for 5 minutes and actually ran he looked the best player out there, the offside goal being 1 of the only times that game they tried, when they made a bunch of attacking subs and threw everything at the goal they scored a last second equalizer and a goal soon as extra time started, and last game whenever they actually started playing with pace they looked good. During the WC England players were running everywhere even when they weren't playing well. Now they just look dead tired grafting through the games

Hello Rio, in this EURO every team is playing in almost 4 3 3 but without really using #9 in true sense, they have #9 but there is no service for #9. They are playing as if there is false 9. Most teams have #9 but are they really playing like it? are they getting the service? Mbappe plays like 11, Hojlund played like 11 and 9 but did not get service of 9. Ronaldo played as 9 10 11 , Portugal had too many 10s, Germany had #9 but the service was lacking, Germany definitely lacked width by the wingers, they were often coming too central and getting blocked, rarely Leroy Sane was seen on the line, he was always more near centre than line.

We haven’t been playing great football we’ve been lucky if we beat the Netherlands we will pretty much be playing Spain and they are brilliant.

We needed penalties to beat Switzerland, didn't look like scoring from open play with our tactics and needed a moment from an individual player to bail us out. Gareth and his tactics are a joke. Quality wise of course we are stronger but our tactics and playstyle completely nullify that quality and we end up playing crap football.
