8 wins would be a successful season. Team has some pieces but needs a few more to be playoff contenders.

The offense is gonna struggle initially but they will be more balanced so I expect a bit of improvement there. The defense will be much improved. Bet on it. I'd say we will be middling, between 17-24.

I agree. All things equal, defense gels faster, gets better first. Offense requires better chemistry QB-to-receivers, oline pieces, etc.

I'm more concerned with the makeup of the coaches, especially on offense. We all recall RR-EB friction. What happens with KK and Brian Johnson if we can't run the ball or protect the QB or QB gets hurt? We don't even have a kicker now, again with the ST drama. On defense maybe Micheal Davis is the second CB or do we still need a starter; I'm not sold BSJ is even the answer. What happens if there isn't enough QB pressure and the secondary is exposed? Do they give up LB play to help the secondary and run defense suffers? This will take time to gel; even with a 60% turnover (which tells you just how bad this team was last year beyond 4-13), do the fans stick with the team when we start 2-6, or what one group said, 1-11 (which was a win against Giants) and end up 1-5 or 0-6 (again) in the division? Honestly without a CB and LT fix, 6-10 seems about right, which is good enough for me, considering the "expansion team" we were last year and player/coach/owner turnover. If we go 8-9, the "bandwagon" needs to be fired up. We have a bunch of 1-year players, so it will be an adventure next offseason, but I think we finally get some respect.

Look. When pundits (and people in general) don't know, you just assume that the team will be bad. And that has been mostly the case in history. Assuming that they'll be great is a great way to get embarrassed. Seriously, a rookie QB with a mediocre OLine and last year's AWFUL defense, how can you guess otherwise?

McDuffie underrated. Should be mentioned on that defense.

Dan Quinn isn’t the DC. Where is the remarkable improvement when you lost Sweat and Fuller?

We lost our best corner, edge and left tackle. We added older players way beyond their prime. Lost one of the best backup QBs in the league. Also, a QB who threw for 4k. How is this team not the worst. The 29 ranking is because of Dan Quinn only.

You are aware that you are defending a trash organization. Your only recourse is insults. Currently the Commanders have nothing at those positions I mentioned. St Juste is slow as molasses. Commanders don’t have an NFL caliber starting left guard or tackle. Jayden Daniels has a below average NFL arm. Your trash team will only have 2 wins six months from now. Dan Quinn is a good coach but you need talent. Kliff, at best is an average OC.

And I could probably say this team might be worse than last year. They have no depth and the offensive line is still garbage. I was screaming at the tv during the draft take a lineman take a lineman and then they reach for a QB that had one good year at LSU and a bunch of mediocre years at Az state.
