In a close race or close tie, you want to be ruthless and beat your opponent. 0-0 kept City in the title race. Now they are top. 2-2 kept Bayern in the tie. A weakened Bayern by the way. i dont think anyone needs to overreact. Both games were tight and bayern had the knowledge and experience their side even during a chaotic inconsistent season domestically. but it always comes down to the fact that the european competitions are just different beasts. Arsenal were lacking but i expect as a football fan, for them to push further next season.

How did Tuchel Chelsea team which was very poor in the CL knocked out big teams and beat prime Man City in the final? How is Atlanta eliminating an experienced Klopp in Europa league. It would be too simplistic to judge the favorite team based on the league form. Not a good excuse either tbh. Tuchel refuses to rotate a lot as well which is one of the reasons Bayern had a terrible injuries record this season.
