I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. God bless you Sleeves! I’m one of those people who made the team builders at the start but stopped after Arnott. I’ve been wondering if it’s worth it for me to start back up making the team builders as I will be playing until NHL 25 comes out, and I know this video will help me decide just that.

They seem like good cards but like always I just think for stuff like that they need to release more cards so all positions are covered.

Definitely gonna hold onto Pronger and Weber since without those players my D core would suffer. Only card worth getting would be Lindros imo

Im very impressed with the players they chose, those players all have been impactful IRL for those franchises. I wonder if there will be another set of 99 team builders to come out...

The same training camp repeatable set needs to return for NHL 25 but with a card for every NHL team.

I made Sundin almost immediately cause he was unstoppable last year. About a month ago it seemed like he was nerfed and was just slow and couldn't score with him. Maybe it's cause the rest of the game caught up but I jumped on Jumbo immediately. Eclipse and Big tipper with him at center is ridiculous

Why make Blake a Colorado card if you’re not making Thornton a bruin and Lindros a nordique

We wont have a full 99 roster until mid-late August at this pace

Lindros been great through 3 games but I was hoping to see a liiittle more out of him. Haven’t activated truculence on him though, will probably give that a go

@@SleevelessGaming In my opinion they should have swapped Sundin and Pronger for Thornton and Blake! Meaning.. Blake and Thornton should have been 93 TB’s and Sundin and Pronger should have been the 99’s with Lindros! In terms of Chara.. I think he might get in the 99 set choice! 99 Blake is phenomenal and I had his 93 card that was also incredibly good! If anyone wanted to save money and the TB’s was not an option.. Blake’s 93 card is still good enough to be a first line defenceman! Lindros and Thornton both skate really well and have amazing shots! I am still trying to figure out the best way to have them protect the puck in a crowd! I have them on the same first line together! Lindros on RW, Thornton on LW and Sundin at centre! First D pairing is Blake at RD and Pronger at LD! This allowed me to finish the objectives in four games in squad battles and my random 90 card was 90 Modano! 😂 Keep up the great videos Sleeves!

Made all three 99 TB’s and also was able to keep Sundin and Pronger’s team builder’s! Finished the objectives and my free random 90 team builder was Mike Modano!! He is still OP on my fourth line!

Lindros is very solid but all the other massive players they released mitigates the card’s effectiveness. Debating making Rob Blake.

3 gold total Eclipse forwards and 2 heatseeker defenseman is literally broken.. doesnt matter which eclipse players you are using, they just need the ability, heatseeker can be silver, doesnt matter .. way too OP

It feels like EA has painted themselves into a corner where all of the biggest events (Fantasy, TOTY, TOTS, Team Builder) are now disappointing because better content is always right around the corner. And with the way they're now repeating the same players SO often, almost none of them feel special anymore. I think this is a sign that the entire mode needs a complete overhaul from the ground up. Throw out almost every event and start with a fresh approach. Legend cards should ONLY be acquired as Icons or Team Builders. These cards are not dependent on new versions to receive upgrades. So, constantly pushing those players is just EA going back to the well too many times, and makes those cards feel significantly less important. You could make a similar argument with X-Factors. If each team is only going to have one now, instead of releasing new cards for that player all the time, just give the X-Factor a boost and let people chase those upgrades. Make these players/cards desirable again. Yes, that might mean less overall content, but you could combat that by not removing cards from packs. Let each event add to the last, and naturally increase the odds of pulling something decent as the year goes on. Sure, some events should be limited...but rather than needing to do stupid reduxes for EVERY early year event, just leave those cards in packs. I don't think it's going to crash the market if somebody pulls an 87 Gallery of Greats MSP in May. These are quality of life improvements that HUT desperately needs because the mode is beyond stale at this point.

These team builders are becoming so tedious 🤦‍♂️. I have pronger, Weber and sundin and I don’t see any reason to trade 2 of them in for 1 right now when the 99s are only a touch better. I will admit the players they selected for team builders are much bigger stars competed to the ones from last year.

would love to play hut but its to much crap an boring doing tedious challenges to level up basicaly its not fun. EA should reward you for playing whole game not cock b;lock itself .you get nothing for playing seasons or quick match online .spend 98% time in hut an cockblocking 3/4 of the game try make some sense

Going to make lindros and keep pronger . But really no game changers here we needed chara . Such a waste all season . Fail again by ea

Made Lindros gave up my PRONGER , bit went back and Made leech 96 to cover that spot great so far

Going off the what team builder means. Should have been like Phil Kessel, Toronto traded for him and built around him, and Ron Francis, the Whalers were building around him till they moved. Not saying they should be the 99s but 90+

Sorry to say this, but Joe Thornton plays so bad. It feels like his acceleration is 80 and he has the agility of a bus. TB Sundin, Heatley, Nash, Hero Bjugstad ... all play better.
