That's a very stupid excuse. Gular is playing for madrid without any pressure, he's playing because madrid have won the league. While Yamal is playing for a team that's struggling to finish 2nd. He's 16years scored goals and 10 assist for barcelona. 3 goals forand 2 assist for Spain. Gular wasn't playing because he wasn't good enough to start for madrid. 1. Arda was injured in the period you claimed he wasn't good enough to play. He did what he did coming off a long injury first-time playing in a completely new atmosphere. 2. Arda was playing in one of the top teams in his country at 16. And he got to Fenerbahce being scouted from his hometown 2 years prior. Yamal has been in Barcelona since he was 6. You simply can not compare what they've accomplished considering the opportunity they've given (it includes more than just play-time). Who is better, time will tell. But your arguments are bs.

They're basically the same player... only Lamine is three years younger and he was born and bread at La Masia. This is the one thing Barca has over Madrid. That's what makes me as a Barca fan happy and proud- Watching these kids coming through the youth ranks, growing as players and persons. I don't think we'll ever reach a peak again with 3 La Masia players on the steps of the balon dor, but if those horrible last years were good for anything than for being forced to trust in La Masia again. So for me as a Barca fan of course I prefer Lamine, but Arda is a fantastic player too. Let's see how they fare next season and let's see where each one stands in 2 years. Or in 3- then Lamine will be the same age as Arda now ;)

Different players for sure. Arda looks to have a much better feel for where the ball is going and is much better at finding and converting chances. Yamal I think is looking like a much more well rounded player and his defensive effort is much better than Gulers. Because of age and effort I’d have to think that Yamal ends up edging him peak vs peak but who knows really.

both are good but Lamal maximum can play like prime Dembele but Arda can win ballandor one day , he is at this potantial

Both are great dribblers but yamal is better at dribbling and yamal is a runner Arda is better at game vision finishing and passing time will show us which is better

People forget that Lamine is just 16 YEARS OLD and he's the best player of Barcelona right know, he's going to the EURO'S with just 16 in Spain national team. Imagine the pressure of that for a 16 years old. When Yamal gets to the age of Güller he's gonna be way more better (he already is), cero doubts.

Both of them are great players. Yamal moves faster. Arda makes artistic move and are pleasıng to the eye .Time shows the real change, in which direction they will flourish.

Contra defensas mediocres no se necesita tanto nivel para destacar. En España a Lamine Yamal le ponen vigilancias férreas de 2 y 3 defensas y aun así el muchacho de 16 años destaca. No son comparables. Arda Guler tiene muuuuuuuuuucho que demostrar todavía. Lamine ya es una realidad.

Guler has never play against any big team in la liga this season he only comes in when Madrid has already score 2 or 3 then he come and add one on top But Yamal has already show it against the big teams Madrid, PSG,Napoli etc
