That's where I got my seedling. Now that I see its potential size, (I never saw that tree while I was there), I may want to reconsider its placement in the yard. Thanks!
WOW! Epic achievement!! Manzanitas are a real challenge to grow. Definitely enjoy drier climes and minimal to no water once established during the hot summers. They are generally found on sandy to rocky soils often on hillsides. Many hybrids are available that tend to be less fussy about being cultivated!! Care should be taken in transplanting nursery bought stock. I would recommend cutting away the pot after giving it a good soaking and being sure that the soil the plant is being placed into is comparable to that soil that it is growing in to ease the acclimation of the root system. This particular one featured in the video, is planted at Tree of Life Nursery by their wholesale building which is made of straw bale.
