Prime Cut Nigiri
Cut the thawed Clearwater Arctic Surf Clamin half lengthwise, creating two thin pieces. Scrape to clean. Trim clam and drape over sushi rice.
Butterfly Cut Nigiri
Slice clam lengthwise leaving a small “hinge” on one side. Scrape to clean and drape over sushi rice.
Maki Roll
Julienne the arctic surf clam. Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo rolling mat covered in plastic wrap. Add a layer of sushi rice on top of the nori. Line chopped cucumber, carrots, and the clams an inch away from one side and roll. Drizzle with spicy mayo and serve with soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi.

This is good for people who are allergic to fish and can only eat shellfish
i just wanna stay on the safe side and ask again after defrosting the clams, they're ready to be eaten? no further cooking is required right? because there's a foodborne illness warning on the back side that kinda scared me

They are simply defrosted, right out of the bag and require no further cooking. However they are as chewy as chewy can be. Nothing like a crab claw.....but then nobody said they were.. Sorry, won’t be buying again

@@kimlee1060 No they don't taste like crab claws, but they are always chewy in every sushi restaurants I've been in, lol. Kind of like octopus sushi.

Prime cut, butterfly cut and maki!
It was good until I saw the hands smushed the rice into the nori and how over cooked/soggy the rice looked..other than that I love eating you brand arctic clams 😂

Thought the same thing. Rice looked very wet and mashed.
