Lyrics:
They want all for one and none for all. I want to be there to witness the downfall. They’ll only sell us out once our backs are turned, and we’ll keep paying the price until our lesson is learnt. So cast your votes, watch them shed their skin. Every snake has its price. If the money’s on the table they don’t think twice. So cast your votes, watch them shed their skin. We are paralysed. But there are none so blind as those who will not see. What’s it going to take to get us to stand up? ‘Cause you can see it in their eyes, they don’t give a fuck about what matters to us. Another faceless figure, an empty silhouette. They’ll line their pockets and leave us six feet deep in debt. So cast your votes, watch them shed their skin. Always out for blood, praying on the weak. We can count on them to paint the future bleak, but still we’re standing by whilst they bleed us dry. We are paralysed. But there are none so blind as those who will not see. What’s it going to take to get us to stand up? ‘Cause you can see it in their eyes, they don’t give a fuck about what matters to us. So enough is enough. ‘Right’ and wrong it’s all the same to me. Thick as thieves as far as I can see. They are leeches all, but still we’re standing by whilst they bleed us dry.

Just let me live and die in peace, R.I.P. Tom Searle, you will always be in our hearts
I really hope they'll do music videos for every song off the album. This is definitely my album of the year without a doubt. Every song is my favorite.

I think Epitaph is the best thing that has happened to Architects. If you think Architects was already one of the outstanding bands of metalcore, you will be surprised by how they outdid themselves with this album. I swear that if you listen to it, it's not even about the guitar, drums or the sound. It's the lyrics. If you think LF//LT had darkness, this album tops that. The lyrics of every song hit you so fucking deep in the bones. And what a fantastic video for this song. God damn it, best luck to any of you going to any of their upcoming shows cause it's going to be absolutely insane.

CJ Fripp calm down with the stats :) it's heavy it's dark it's Architects sold.... Sam actually puts a lot of emotion into the songs in live performance, in his tones while singing, this isn't a band that writes lyrics for money, the Last person I felt put such emotion into singing was Close your eyes (Shane Raymond)

James Grenard they have a smaller audience, ofc. But this means nothing when it comes to greatness (in this case). lyrically for example parkway drive aren't even remotely on architects' level. Musically it's more of a personal preference

This is the most visually stunning music video I've ever seen.
The thing with Architects songs is, it feels like I've heard this song a thousand times (not meant in the bad way) like I'm finally coming home and get warmly welcomed but it’s also a completely new experience at the same time.
the part where we says "they don't give a fuck." gives me chills
I got chills watching this video, the lyrics are just perfect.
100% Perfection.
I wish there new stuff hit me like this, even 6 years later.
Interesting video! Lots happening lyrically; liberation, control, order vs chaos... the visuals support it further. Unless I'm reading too much into it, I'm reading 'Downfall' as a protest song.

+inher!t ! Same dude. Memento Mori is my favorite. It's a very emotional track for me. Something in my head, and even my heart, just clicks when I hear it. Something about that song is just otherworldly. Maybe it's the structure. Maybe it's the lyrics and how emotional Sam's voice sounds. Maybe it's the heaviness yet melodic side of the guitars mixed with the electronic. Maybe it's the entirety of the song as a whole. Whatever it is, it's definitely the most musicianship and a big step for the band.

Criminally underrated. I repeat for the sake of the KZread algorithm: criminally underrated. I love the metaphor of the video.
You know, normally I don't really buy albums, band tshirts or go to concerts at all. This is the first band that's convinced me to actually go to a concert to hear them live(and with some luck get an autograph). Sadly, I'm still a student and I can't afford it. A man can dream.

THANK YOU ARCHITECTS 😊 I live in AZ USA and with whats going on now here I just had to return to this song!!
Album is amazing. Guys, keep doing what you are doing.
as a fan of screams and cleans with strains. this guy strains, and this last decade of them has been something to live by. these guys are icons, behind and in front of the studio. i retired aggro shit for this physical tear drop sing alongs that they have. my body goes that hard
The entire album is powerful. I purchased it almost immediately as it was released. Architects has and will be the strongest group to demonstrate meaning through lyrics.
Just learned this song on the guitar and I'm still trying to comprehend how beautifully and perfectly made the guitar work is. Like, every note matches well the next one, the chords, the progression is just impressive. I know everybody that plays the guitar will understand. This is truly something only a gifted guitarist could've made, and that was Tom for sure. Rest in peace genius. Thanks for this.

Mine too. Or maybe nihilist, or maybe gravity, or maybe gone with the wind, or maybe a match made in heaven. Or after recent events, maybe memento mori:\
Never really liked this kind of metalcore until this song hit me. When I was between 16-25 I listened to a lot of hardcore, metalcore, second-wave emo/midwest emo... Melodic, progressive, post-blabla, you name that. But not this particular kind of metalcore, mainly because my prejudice about the fans was stupid. They were never pretentious, I was. Anyhow, yeah... This song hits home. Listened to Raised Fist since I was a small kid since I'm Swedish... A lot of Shai Hulud, too. And Taken. Yeah. Lyrics matter, they must be authentic, meaningful, true and a sometimes they put up a fucking fight into your mind, and heart, and body. This smashed my entire goddamn planet apart. Felt every word straight into my bones, man. This album is one of my favourites. The band, too! IT DID TO ME WHAT MUSIC IS MEANT TO DO! Smash bad shit apart, build new beautiful things.
We will be.
