Very nice charming house with subtle design. I love how the architect says that "they approach their architecture as a backdrop to their clients lives and livelihood, where the architecture isnt fighting for attention but it more supports them to express their style". Many times architects tend to do the contrary. The invisible narrow skylight above the marble backsplash 👌🙌

One of my favorite houses in The Local Project's list...Looks so subtle, homey, and comfy all through every corner of the house. Its color tone so warm and comforting. Kudos to the Architect and interior design team.

Again absolutely stunning. So sympathetic to the historic property and every aspect thought through perfectly. A home for life. Thank you for sharing such an amazing property.

I think this project should be revisited and filmed when the gardens are more mature and lush. As mentioned throughout the video the several pocket gardens have a connection to the interior, however at the moment a lack of shadows and foliage is very notable

So refreshing to see a non white kitchen- reminiscent of bathrooms of the past- different coloured bathtubs. Colours making a comeback? Here’s hoping… 👏🏽

I like the green very much.

I have always thought that the main selling point of using an Architect is their expertise in managing light. This wonderful home shows that off perfectly thanks to the generous free will of the clients.

Looks like my dream house, I hope one day I can have it. You are amazing.

Thanks to Google Maps, the address is 15 Deakin Street Malvern East if anyone is wondering. Bought for AUD1.93mln in 2019 and was already renovated although this takes it to a new level and is much better. Would be interesting to see what the valuation is with the new extension!

Penso che eleganza e stile non possano non tener conto del contesto ambientale. L'ambiente e' un valore in se'. A chi piace un classico terrace vittoriano in un contesto ambientale del medesimo tipo, non puo' stravolgerne la struttura che costava meno in un altro contesto. L'impatto ambientale urbano e' devastante.

Great concept and I like older homes and their character but I have to be honest this house doesn’t look like a home to me.

Maybe beacuse I`m so old, but this pictuers are changing to fast and I cant imaging myself what whole house look like.
