Eric, really thank you for all you do. And the way you explain everything with so much calm, and precision - is really amazing for me. All level (beginners or advanced, etc) of Archicad students are able to follow and understand. Thank you.

Arbnor - Yes, it is possible to do this. For any schedule, the first step is to define the criteria for what elements you would like to include in the report; this might be Objects in general (no restrictions) or only ones on specific layers, or with IDs that start with a specific letter, etc. Next, you’ll set up the Fields in the bottom section of the dialog. In addition to the library part name and the ID, you can add length, width and height values. Note that length might be defined or reported as 3D Length (which could be horizontal or on a slope or even vertically in some cases), or the A parameter value (typically the length along the X-axis in the default orientation of the library part). It can get complicated if you’re trying to report on objects of different types that use different conventions for determining those values. In MasterTemplate I have defined some Properties that calculate dimensions based on different options, allowing me to create a unified schedule for certain cost reports.

Hi Gedefaw - Check the Building Material set for the column vs the wall skins. If the BMat is lower priority (e.g. wood vs concrete) then the overlapping area or volume will only show the element with the higher priority. Test out changing the Building Material of the column to one with a very high priority, such as structural concrete. In some rare cases, you may want set the column to be on a layer in a different layer intersection group, so that it does not automatically interact with the wall; then use Solid Element Operations > Subtract with the column as Operator and the wall as Target, which will make the column carve out a space in the wall volume.
